Must say my experience with Crown was amazing. They moved my fathers office(global towing) and I didn’t have to worry about one thing! The crew was on time and very friendly. I couldn’t believe how smooth everything went. They protected the office well and didn’t damage one thing. My dad was very happy with the move!

Never use Crown Worldwide Moving! We had approx. $ 2000 worth of missing items and there are so many loopholes in their contract that they won’t honor a claim to reimburse the customer! They gave us a quote and after we chose their company they tried twice to increase it! Horrible company, horrible experience! This company is a joke! If I could I would give it a –0 rating! Terrible experience!

Here it comes: my very first 1 star review. I hate to do this because I usually use Unilocal as a medium to help the places I love gain popularity. But believe me, I have to do this. Everything about this moving company has been terrible. I’m moving in a week, the company is local, and for some reason it had high reviews… which was why I tried my best to book my move with them. Silly me. To start, I purchased their Unilocal deal. I called the company to book a move. The lady on the phone, Cici, or Cecilia, was very condescending and rude, but she asked I send an email to her assistant with my move items, they’ll take a look at it, but they can’t put me down for my requested move date because they never book moves in advance(??). First red flag. I told her about the Unilocal deal I purchased and she said I was mistaken. That there was never a Unilocal deal and they cannot honor it. Second red flag. I was annoyed that I had spent so much time on the phone dealing with the stupid Unilocal thing I bought, annoyed I didn’t have much time during working hours to call other places, so I just went ahead and emailed her assistant, Jose, a list of my belongings. Jose emails me asking for a screenshot of the deal I had purchased which I gladly send over to him. Jose was actually really professional and nice… But about an hour later, Cecilia sends me a curt email saying they cannot service my move and I would have to find another mover. No explanation. What the fudge! I call the company to ask what the issue is and somehow I get transferred to the president without knowing it. He calls Cecilia into the office, puts her on speaker phone and suddenly, she is as sweet as a lamb. She denied everything she had said to me via phone and email. I was appalled. Rick, the president was actually really nice so I decided to overlook Cecilia’s duplicity. Apparently, they can and do book moves in advance and have to, which makes sense! What they could not do was refund the Unilocal deal I had purchased; I would have to go through Unilocal.AGAIN annoying, but I took their word that they never posted it and they have no clue it exists. Everything was fine, until now, one week before my move when I had to scramble to find a new moving company. I don’t own much at all. And I’m not moving far, a little less than 30 miles away on a weekday around noon. All I have are queen bed, a small couch, a bookshelf, a couple end tables, two tv’s, and a dresser. All my random stuff fit in seven medium boxes. A simple, light one bedroom move. But they quoted me over 600 dollars! And they want me to pay up front before the move to formally put the move in the books. Needless to say, I’m not using their services. It sucks because I put so much unnecessary effort into trying to give them business, when clearly they don’t want it.

These guys are true professionals. On time, final price is usually less than the quote, friendly, professional, and fast! I’ve had some bad experiences with movers in the past – scary guys who jack up the price with all of the extra packaging and even one company that refused to take my stuff off the truck unless I signed a revised quote for 30% more than the original! Crown is nothing like that. They take pride in their work and really go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy. They’ve moved me 3 times in the past 4 years and even though it’s been a different crew each time, the quality of their work is consistent. Can’t say enough nice things about them. They’re the BEST!
