This is reported to be the best Greek food in the Vail Valley. I would expand that to all of Colorado! Owner operated and run… and it shows big time. The food is meticulously prepared with great care and pride. The owner serves your food! The Gyro meat is made on site with grain feed lamb and beef… not processed in Chicago like what most Greek eateries serve, so the texture and taste are like nothing I have ever had, no fillers, just the meat! The Metzoball soup is stunning and served piping hot. The hummus is perfectly balanced and fresh, served with hot pita bread. I am telling you this place is unbelievable and so welcoming and nice! Best meal I have had up here in a long time.

Came here in June with my boyfriend and the food was amazing! Cheap, tasty, and incredibly flavorful! Will have to make it back sometime, or just visit the Cherry Creek market stall.

Everything is good! Except they have changed their meat. Not in strips anymore just big chucks. I would love to have strips again!

Nicki Quickie gyro is the worse I have ever eaten. Sorry to write this. Meat is all chopped up and mushy. Greek salad was good though

I enjoyed my food here and it was refreshing! We came for gyros and the fish taco special but they had ran out of both and it was lunch time. They also did not have lime. The counter guy was sassy too. I won’t stop in next time but it was good.

So very disappointed! We use to love the original Nicky’s quickie but sadly they changed for the worse! We had the amazing gyros last summer at the Stapleton farmers market almost every Sunday so we were excited to see they were back this year. Unfortunately they were horrible! The meat was the best part. Yummy lamb strips with exceptional flavor! Now it’s ground up beef with maybe some lamb in it and no flavor! They’re much smaller, no tomatoes and no feta cheese! They tried to cut corners and they failed miserably!!! This was my husbands favorite gyro he has every had and I don’t even like gyros but I loved the Nicky quickie! Needless to say we will never go back!!! So sad! Please let us know if you ever go back to your original quality quickie.

I just had dinner at the brick and mortar location in Minturn, and this was some of the best Greek food I’ve had in a looooong time!(And this coming from someone who lives in NYC!) Great selection of vegan/vegetarian options(and of course loads of meat dishes)… I had trouble deciding so I ended up getting the Eggie Platter with a small side of tofu as a special request since I wanted to try that too. The eggs and salad were perfectly spiced, the latkes and pita were piping hot… The sauce was so delicious that I hope I never find out what’s in it… But what impressed me most was actually the tofu. The texture was spot on, much meatier than I expected and just the right amount of crisp. The owner, Stephen, also happened to be there and he was very friendly and welcoming. Hope I get a chance to come back soon.

Not so stoked with these place, had a meal at a mountain bike race these guys where pushy and kind of rude. Didn’t know that much about gyros and had some questions, well they where not havinng any of that. No time for questions about the food that you are about to much money for, and it was expensive. Not much to eat after that said, went away feeling hungry. Not sure I will be back to eat here again.,

I didn’t have the best experience here. I wrote an awful review on Unilocal. However, the manager was very kind to me and he reached out to me through Unilocal.I look forward to giving this place another try.

Hmmm… the smell of Gyros… Was it Gyros? I have to double check! Nope, triple check to reconfirm. Yes its Gyros alright. Found this vendor at City Park Esplanade Farmers Market on Sunday October 20th2013. Unfortunately, the Gyro meat that he had was the«frozen» kind — Restaurant Based aka the ones you can find at Restaurant Depot… when I saw this vendor in action, putting the thaw Gyros meat on the skillets. Nevertheless, since Hubs was hungry and he wanted to purchase some Gyros, to this vendor we went. We found out, that this Vendor actually has a storefront in Vail. So hence this review is ONLY based on our experience eating the Gyros that we purchased from this vendor that morning. Yes, the pricing can be pricy for some. I opt to have Half Quickie($ 4.99), while Hubs opt to have($ 7.99). Our order comes with Sautee Gyro Meat, with Greek Spices, on Grilled Pita Breads. Our Gyros order is drizzled with Tzatziki Sauce, and come with Grilled Onions, Mixed Greens, Roma Tomato, Feta Cheese and Kalamata Olives. The Pita Breads, are the ones you can find in Grocery markets. Before we received our order, the Pita Breads were warmed up aka«toasted» on the Grill Pan. Decent Gyros I must add. I am not wow by it, though I cannot deny for the half portion is slightly small for my appetite. *Sad Face* I forgot, that I can«customize» my order, coz when I saw the vendor put the«salad» on my Gyro purchase, it comes with Kalamata Olives that I don’t fancy as much. Its an Okay Gyro, though we cannot deny it was super messy to eat Gyro On The Go. Required plenty of napkins mind you… @226/2013

Loved this place and hope to return before our trip is over. Tasty gyros and great falafel. Their pita bread is some of the best I’ve tasted. Also, they have lots of vegetarian and vegan options including vegan ice cream.

This is the best Gyro place in Colorado. Head to Minturn for a little adventure or get your fill at the Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market. It’s an A+.

Wow, what a find! The best felafel I have ever had, with the tangiest tahini sauce! Very cheap, very friendly service. And if you haven’t stopped in Minturn, it’s a nice little mountain community worth a vista!
