The fried chicken was amazing. Peggy, my waitress did an excellent job with her menu recommendations. Then, came the dessert, cheese cake with pineapple, priceless. Peggy told me it was her GrandMothers recipe, WOW!!! I definitely will be back to eat here on my next visit to this area.

Just an incredible experience. Chrissy provided impeccable service and food was fantastic. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the lake perch. Portions were huge and the dishes were both excellent. We will be returning often.

Our family has been dining at Cookies for many years. My husband and son love their ribs. Say they are the best they have ever had. I prefer the lemon baked cod. Cookies Bloody Marys are famous. Rumor has it actor Nick Offerman who grew up in Minooka loves them.

Over priced, slow service, and stale beer. Save yourself the trip and move on to the next place. My 8 year old daughter didn’t even enjoy her meal.

Best restaurant around. My husband and I would rather eat at Cookies than go to Naperville. We find the food very tasty, an excellent value and always consistent. The service is excellent and the Bloody Mary’s are fantastic. Oh, and if your looking to feel welcome, Angie and Keith make you feel right at home! 10+++++++++

Cookies is a small town, locally owned restaurant and bar. I was pleasantly surprised at the staff as I stopped in for a few drinks and food. The bartender was very pleasant and quick to refill drinks and clean area. The food was above expectations for a quaint bar like this. The bar side has a full stock bar, beer on tap and bottled, lottery tickets, and slot machines. Great place to stop in and have a few drinks and wind down!

Stepping into this location is like stepping into the 60 s. Smaller dinning room wood paneling on the walls simple chairs and tables. Service was great and food even better. Had the king prime rib and it was tender and moist. Bloody Mary was also on par. Limited menu of American classics of steaks, chops, fish and some sandwiches. Great bang for your buck. Avg. for two with drinks $ 45. Not bad for a good steak. If your sick of the chains check this hole in wall out. Don’t be scared walk in, but come in early. Gets busy on weekends.

I was very displeased with these chuckleheads. They take forever. Ordered food for a pickup. They said 20 minutes. It took 45 minutes. This happened twice so far. The burger was so blah. Was like omg really? Gtf outta here with that.

Back at Cookies again on 9⁄17 son had the Fillet and cream of asparagus soup of course i had the chicken and we shared the potato skins. This joint never changes the food is always cooked to perfection with simply the greatest fried chicken the area has to offer. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. ice cold beer and fair pricing MAKE COOKIES A GOTTA GO TO SPOT

Great Place, one of my favorite restaurants. The food is great and the place hasn’t changed in years. The décor gives an awesome small town feel and the staff makes you feel like you have been going there for years. The food is very good and the bloody marys are the best I have ever had. You need to sit and have a pre or post dinner drink at the bar, the service is excellent and the prices are good
