We went to the restaurant during the week and arrived at 7 PM and was not serve food until 45 minutes later. We did get the chicken which was good and moist but a little salty. We also got the salad bar which had nothing fresh on it most things came out of a can or a plastic container. The staff was friendly, when we finished eating there was just a bill not ask if we were interested in any dessert;(we had to ask for things from the server more than once like silverware, napkins etc. I would try something different next time when we go there

If you’re in this neck of this neck of central Illinois, the staff is friendly, and the burger and tenderloins are tasty. I don’t like fast food but I do enjoy a burger made with real meat.

We were out looking at a Jeep from a Craig’s list ad and afterwards needed dinner. A friendly lady from the town recommended Schmoe’s. The restaurant didn’t look like much on the outside and the interior was dated, but the food and service were very nice. My husband got the fish special. He was very impressed. There were 3 very large perfectly battered fillets. This came with potato, roll and salad bar for $ 9. I asked for a suggestion from the waitress and ordered the homemade pulled pork. It came with chips and was quite tasty.
