A gym membership for the whole family that is actually affordable. Pool, splash pad, play structure indoor, free childcare, free group classes, basketball, tennis and friendly staff. I consider myself lucky to be a Minnetonka resident.

This place is not closed. Pretty much a full-service rec center with lockers/showers, large lap pool (including splash pad for the kids), indoor tennis courts, basketball court, batting cage, a couple workout studios for fitness classes, child care (and a treehouse area for kids), and a large area with cardio and weight machines and freeweights. No complaints about the place other than sometimes in the winter when school’s out or weekend mornings the parking lot might be full (in that case, park on the street or in auxilary parking with a free shuttle). The staff is friendly and most of the classes are free with a membership. Otherwise, there’s a daily pass for about $ 8. The place is definitely family-friendly and even seems to have as many or more kids than adults using the facilities.
