They’ve got to stop pulling big trucks up on Lake St and running a conveyor belt over the sidewalk. There’s no way to get around short of walking out in the street — that would be LAKESTREET. Also would be nice if the pharmacy was actually open during business hours. I wouldn’t even be bothering to write this Unilocal review if the darn online contact form for the Walgreens headquarters worked. But it doesn’t. WHEREISONESUPPOSEDTOGOFOR A PHARMACYAROUNDHERE? Target can’t get prescriptions right(and they tend to lose paper copies so then you have no prescription at all). And this place doesn’t seem like they’ve got their act together. Although I will trust pills from them(because I can look up the numbers to check if they’ve got it right), there’s no way I’d ever trust a liquid formulation from them. Here they are building a bigger bldg to house this business but they can’t be bothered to hire enough pharmacists to fill prescriptions. It can take a couple days. And even when they do call and say it’s ready, it usually isn’t. And they make mistakes. Probably because the few pharmacists they have there are overworked.

Stephanie is right. The super friendly helpful guy is named Marshon, and he is just fabulous. Walgreens should give him a scholarship to college. There is a pharmacist named Kefali who is also excellent and works terribly hard. They really could use more staff at the pharmacy.

I don’t typically review places like this, but because of the employees(one cashier in particular, but decent experiences with pharmacists as well), I figured I’d give them some recognition. Every time I come here, I am greeted by the friendliest man alive. He makes you feel like you’re at a mom & pop shop instead of a chain drugstore and sometimes, especially if you’re there because you’re not feeling well, that is exactly what you need to get some pep back in your step!

Love Walgreens in general! I’ve had good and bad experiences at this location. Bad experiences have ALWAYS been in the pharmacy because the so called«pharmacists» can’t count or get my prescriptions correct. So, I don’t do prescriptions here anymore. BUT, I have had GREAT experiences with the photo people and just in general. They do passport photos here and we had to get 5 sets which would have cost a lot– but because we bought so many sets they gave us a discount!

Is it possible to be the worst Walgreens in the world? They strive, anyway. Although Shay, the photo manager, is a very committed and customer service-oriented woman. I pray she’ll get somehow get promoted out of the squalor. Godspeed, Shay.

Stopped using this walgreens because they couldn’t fill my scripts in time or accurately. When they did get them, the pill count was off! Always double count your pills!

Eh, it’s a generic Walgreens. It feels slightly smaller than many other Walgreens I have been in. I’ve been to worse drug stores. There’s nothing particularly wrong or right with this one, and I feel no need to travel out of my way just to go to a different Walgreens.

Maybe it’s in a bad neighborhood. Maybe it doesn’t get much foot traffic. Maybe the staff is incompetent. I don’t know what the problem is, but this store is incredibly disorganized and insufficiently stocked. Phooey. I’d go out of my way to hit the 46th& Hiawatha location instead.
