This placed totally rocks! it is amazing the difference quality oils and vinegars have on our food. I love putting the balsamic vinegar on my popcorn. The garlic oil saves me time. Here’s a quick three minute vegan pesto recipe: Basil, coconut shreds, walnuts, garlic oil, add water to make smooth serve over pasta.

White balsamic vinegar. That was my gateway drug to this amazing store. Yum. Worth the price and it lasts a long time. I am in San Diego and will be ordering online!

I’ve learned that the key to simple, delicious cooking is using the right, high-quality ingredients. Flavored oils and vinegars can help you transform salads, roasted vegetables, popcorn, even ice cream to another more decadent level. I usually come here with someone else in mind but usually can’t help get something tasty for myself too. Favorites include: *Balsamic de Moderno(18 year aged balsamic vinegar that will make you CRAZY) *Truffle olive oil(because everything tastes better with truffle oil, duh) *Chocolate balsamic vinegar(I would imagine this is heavenly on brussel sprouts or vanilla ice cream) *Fig balsamic vinegar(salads!!) *Egyptian olive oil(really unique taste) I would love to see some Indian-infused oils like saffron, garam masala or CARDAMOM. That would be fantastic! You can sample until your heart’s content and the staff will provide recommendations on how to use their products in the best possible ways. I don’t come here often, but when I do, I leave with boundless ideas and a new oil or vinegar(or likely, both) to shake up my current menu.

Flavor infused oils take a good dinner to the level of fabulous. I’m a huge fan of how much better this sort of product makes my cooking. I’m also crazy about how fun it is to make my selections at this shop. You can try anything from spicy chili oil to sweet white peach balsamic vinegar to savory truffle infused olive oil to tart green apple fruit vinegar. The flavor options go on and on and they completely want you to try them all! It’s super fun and delicious. From a health conscious standpoint balsamic vinegar and a drizzle of olive oil is soo much better for you than regular dressings or even a vinaigrettes. It’s far fewer calories(they put lots of oil and sugar in vinaigrettes), so if you’re eating salad for the health benefit of it, you can actually keep it clean. I like to use a fruit infused balsamic like apple or raspberry to make it just as flavorful as a fat filled dressing but obviously really good for you. I could never get enough of all the flavor this wonderful little shop provides! I absolutely intend to share some goodies with friends and family to spread the yummy love!

This place is to a foodie what a candy store is to a kid. The first time I went to vinaigrette, I could not wipe the smile off of my face. I think I did a little giddy hop upon entering. While there, you are encouraged to move about the store tasting samples of flavor-infused olive oils and balsamic vinaigrette. You won’t find sprigs of rosemary or chunks of garlic in these olive oils. Instead, they use an infusion process that allows for a clean oil with just enough flavor of the added ingredient. In addition to consumables, they have a display of olive oil hand lotions, soaps, and other items. Be prepared to spend some time here to really get a sense of what you like. Don’t know how you would use a fig balsamic or a lemon olive oil? Check out their handy guide that provides ideas for the perfect pairing. I go to Vinaigrette whenever I’m looking for a unique gift or want to break out my foodie cooking skills. Fig balsamic glazed leg of lamb? Oh yes, that was fantastic. A big thank you to Vinaigrette for friendly, helpful service and a plethora of oil and vinegar choices.

At face value, it’s a place to buy fine oil and vinegar. Beyond that though, it’s this whole gourmet experience that’s pretty wonderful. The woman helping us was so friendly and welcoming right as we walked through the door. They encourage you to taste as much as you want, so you can hop around dipping and mixing… OR sipping olive oil straight from tiny cups like yours truly. I highly recommend a shot of the garlic-rosemary combo. And the raspberry balsamic. And the chili oil. And the champagne vinegar… Even though I haven’t purchased anything here yet, my friend did give me a little bottle of Vinaigrette’s Spanish olive oil last summer that I ration out into salads as if it were the most valuable thing in my pantry(aside from my little strands of saffron, it probably is). A set of different oils/vinegars would also make a nice gift since you could customize it for that person or for a certain recipe. They even have some recommended pairings listed on each cask so you can make sure your choices jive with each other.

This is a great place for upscale olive oils and vinegar. I have been a customer since they opened and will not buy from anyone else. They have a wonderful selection of flavored olive oils including an outstanding lime olive oil which paired with the juice of a real lime in the proportions of 3 to 1 makes an extremely bright vinaigrette for most salads. I use the garlic olive oil for a lot of my cooking and the jalapeño olive is great for adding some zip to a dish. The rosemary pairs well with lamb and I could go on and on. The establishment is locally owned and the staff is extremely helpful. if you are serious about your food and cooking this is the place.

A knowledgeable staff, fantastic products, sampling galore, and I keep coming back for more! I love when the staff can tell me where and who creates the fantastic olive oils and vinegars Vinaigrette sells. I love to be able to taste the producer’s efforts and buy their product with delight and appreciation for their work. I love sharing Vinaigrette’s products with friends and family and seeing their eye light up with enjoyment. Yes, the oil and vinegar is pricy, but this is not for cooking. This is kind of product you drizzle on the top at the end, so its flavors come out pure. Believe me, you don’t need much, and it’s just so good!

What a wonderful business. I tried all sorts of olive oils and vinegars, and they were just so helpful and patient with my questions. My goal was for a decent balsamic vinaigrette, and I knew nothing about the different kinds. I love the little tasting cups — it really helps to understand the subtleties. I’m looking forward to bringing the SO along, as he has more of a taste for the fancy olive oils than I do, but it was such a cool place, I will definitely drive out of my way to go here again. Not really related to the quality of the products, BUT I went to buy my bf that thing of balsamic vinegar for Christmas, and ended up smashing the thing on the road while I was unlocking my car. OMG — I was so embarrassed and shocked! All this lovely vinaigrette, all over the road! Arugh! So, teary eyed, and broken bottle in hand(and vinegar all over my coat!), they sent me into the basement to use their bathroom to clean off my(white!!) coat and refilled a new bottle, no charge. It made my week so much better — I was already impressed, and that made it even more awesome. How embarrassing though. I made sure to grip the bag with two hands all the way to my car the second time! Good lord… Anyway, as someone else mentinoned, they were out of stock of a lot of varieties, so I’m looking forward to returning after they restock the tiny bottles so we can try all sorts of stuff!

Update as of December 23. The store’s supplies have been nearly picked clean by everyone who heard about this fabulous place and came in to taste and buy. By 2nd January, Sarah expects to restock 20+ varieties of olive oil and vinegars again, as well as the smallest sized bottles(147 ml) — she went through 1800 bottles in 9 days!
