great people, completely fenced and my dog loves it. It’s nice and convenient too! We go to victory 44 to grab dinner out on the patio with our dog then head to the dog park after. Don’t forget to bring water though, there aren’t any fountains on the lot.

I LOVE this place! My puppy enjoyed running and playing but do you know what the best part was? The people! They were so friendly and wonderful! It was so nice connecting with people in my community who love dogs as much as I do! Bob Barker(my dog) met some great people and so did I! This place is an asset to North Minneapolis.

We love this dog park for our 3 dogs, one of which is a great runner and loves all types of dogs! There is a great group of dogs around 3 everyday. So if your dog loves to run like mine than you can handle this group!

It isn’t too popular yet, but I’m hoping that’ll change. It’s a pretty decent park, a little small but still enough space for the dogs to run. I was initially nervous when I pulled up and saw the train tracks going right next to the park, but the train isn’t bad at all. If anything it fascinates my dog. So far the people I’ve met there(and their dogs of course) have been great. Most people pick up after their dogs so it’s generally clean.

Im dogsitting right now. And I thought to myself, «What better place to go than to the dog park that just opened by my house.» I dont own a dog so I dont have much basis for comparison. But I thought it was a nice, neighborhood dog park. It was really big — plus there was an additional fenced area that was more prairie. It was clean(I kept having to get the frisbee for my dog because she was getting distracted) and I didnt see anything I needed to watch out for. And I liked that there were plenty of water bowls and toys for the dogs. There were about 12 other dogs when I was there. They all seemed to have a great time and so did I. Now I just need to get a dog of my own.

I was very excited when I saw there was a new dog park located within miles of my home! Today was our first visit to this dog park — and I am impressed. It is much nicer & much bigger than I was expecting. You have to keep in mind that this dog park is located right in the middle of the city. The area surrounding the park is mixed residential/industrial with train tracks running along the back part of the park. The park itself is really nice! Unlike most dog parks, this one has a lot of grass! It feels like a big open prairie! My dogs really seemed to love how wide open it is + every surface wasn’t piled high with wood chips(which seem to hurt their paws a bit). There are tons of water dishes around to use & like most dog parks, it’s best to bring water for your own dog/s + some to share. There were balls available(although none of my dogs play fetch). Benches + chairs to sit in. The fence was high enough to keep my rather large Foxhound inside(he’s quite an escape artist — so good/high fences are important to me). Poop bags are supplied + there is a garbage can located inside the park… I just really liked this park… and I will definitely be going back here with my pups…

Was so excited when I got the email letting me know that there was an off-leash dog park opening under 2 miles from my house. NOTE: You do need the Mpls Off Lease license to come here. We attended the ‘Grand Opening’ today… now keep in mind my baby is 7 and we have been visiting dog parks since he was 6 mths. So, we have some basic expectations… here is what I noticed… 1. Puppy-poo garbage can is outside the fence, which wouldn’t be a problem if you could reach over the fence — but unless you are 10 feet tall, that is not happening. So you have to leave the fenced in area to throw your puppy-poo away. 2. It has great grass/woodchip/trail combination. I would say size-wise — comparable to Lake of the Isles. 3. The trees are majority pines — not much help when it comes to shade. So my big black dog was overheated quite quickly. 4. No designated watering hole area… so in other words — bring your own water and something to put it in, as you may not find a bowl. 5. No where to sit/place stuff. No benches/tables…or even a big ol tree. 6. Parking is great… the true entrance is where Sheridan meets 47th, and all of 47th is open for parking. This is a neighborhood, so be respectful of the noise. I do wonder how the residents feel about this park… I will definitely come back, but it isn’t(at least not yet) a park I will plan on hanging at for a bit like I do Minnehaha Park.
