We were there 2⁄6. Love the space. Had a latte and a pastry, both very good. My husband had the open face salmon, the mustard overpowered the salmon. The coffee and decaf coffee were too lite for our taste. Need a dark roast option. Service and staff were all terrific. As a neighbor I would like a protein/breakfast option in addition to pastries between 6:00 — 10:00.

Smorrebrod, fresh pastries, and great coffee. Perfect for a light breakfast. Great and welcoming room with friendly and helpful staff. I had the salmon open faced sandwich(smorrebrod) and a great break from bagels and lox. Right amount of vinegar and mustard. Will go back to sample all the other choices. Wife had chocolate croissant and brioche pastry. All baked on site, we saw them being shuttled from the main Bachelor Farmer kitchen.

I’m impressed that despite being almost brand new, the Bachelor Farmer Café feels like it’s been in the neighborhood forever. We stopped in for a cup of coffee last Sunday afternoon when the weather was a blazing 40 degrees in January, and I was happy to grab a spot at the standing bar by the window. After hanging out for a few minutes and seeing food orders come out of the small kitchen, we absolutely couldn’t help ordering something. Their current menu has about 5 open-faced sandwiches(between $ 6 – 8) and 5 salad options($ 5 – 8), along with 2 soups($ 4.50/$ 6). They’re looking to add a few more sandwich options in the near future. I had the smoked salmon sandwich with mustard and dill, which was pretty much a work of art — little cubes of fish with perfectly evenly spaced herbs. The mustard was super spicy, but I thought it was a good compliment to the salmon. I also had a few bites of the potato soup, which was velvety smooth and delicious, though the cup seemed like an even smaller portion than what you would expect. The pastries looked incredible, and I’m excited to come back to test them out. Unless you’re a flip phone-toting Luddite, you’ve probably seen the Instagram photos of the café’s interior — it’s absolutely beautiful. The geometric tiles on the walls and counter are artsy and modern, and the white ceilings give it an open and airy feel. The clientele is as gorgeous as the café itself, which you might expect from a North Loop establishment with ties to the Bachelor Farmer and Askov. Literally everyone in the place looks like they shop exclusively at martinpatrick3 or D.Nolo. This definitely isn’t Moose & Sadie’s — I wouldn’t recommend coming here immediately after rolling out of bed, unless your«rolling out of bed» consists of having perfectly blown out hair and throwing on a $ 200 «casual» sweater. I love that they open at 6 a.m. on weekdays, so we North Loop inhabitants can stop in before we’re forced to leave for work — though I guess work is a necessity for supporting my soon-to-be unstoppable BFC breakfast habit. Welcome to the neighborhood, Bachelor Farmer Café. We’re so happy to have you.

The space is gorgeous and inviting. The tile is beautiful and it’s just a cute place to stop in! The employees here are extremely friendly and helpful which I love. Both times I’ve stopped in, I got the open sandwiches, which are basically toast with toppings. I’ve had the salmon/mustard and the cheese/beets ones, and they are SO good. The salmon one reminded me of sushi, and the beets one was super tasty — more of a dessert to me. I also ordered a macchiato the first time which was much smaller than I anticipated… only an espresso shot with a dash of milk. I would definitely go for the latte from now on, which is what I got the second time — more of a full coffee. I will definitely be back to this place multiple times, especially since it’s right next to Askov Finlayson! :)

Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and it was a delightful experience. First of all, it was packed! The whole time I was there it was busy but never too long of a wait. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. Beautiful tiling and an open space that makes it very inviting. There are only a few spots to sit as it is a smaller space. I ordered the North Loop blend made by Dogwood and it was tasty, of course. The drink prices looked pretty reasonable and comparable to other local coffee shops. They were not serving food when I came — not available after 3pm on Saturdays — so I will be back to try it! Overall, this is a great spot to hit up to grab on the go or sit, relax, and enjoy some stellar coffee.

The space is absolutely beautiful. The coffee roast, a partnership between the café and Dogwood, is brilliant. It’s a light roast with a gentle yet full flavor. I stole a sip of my sister’s cappuccino. It was a perfect piece of harmony. Bought a cup of coffee my first visit and went back the next day for the bag of beans. We also got a brownie. Dark chocolate batter with studs of milk chocolate. I’m going back next for an open faced sammie. Love the space.

unusual flavors in their coffee. tried the expresso and found it to be bitter. their chocolate croissant was crispy on the outside but dense on the inside. $$$$ prices they charge are not worthy. Moose & Sadies is less and better. Go to turtle bread for the best croissant.
