Starbucks

I wish I could give this place no rating but then I could not write my review. Today my boyfriend and I went to Starbucks because I wanted to try the limited chocolate molten frappé. Him and I both were standing at the counter) which clearly was only him and I). No one greeted us or even looked our way, but wasn’t a big deal I saw that one of the bartistas was helping another customer and the other went to the back. So my boyfriend decided to go look at the deli section at target while I clearly was waiting for one of the workers to come help me. I then proceeded to wait, the other worker came out from the back, smirked at me with a rude face and didn’t even say anything to me and walked past me and cash register still ignoring me. I stood there for about 5 mins and after she gave me a rude look. I clearly realized I was not going to be helped. I went to get my boyfriend who was confused why I didn’t a drink and explained to him what happened. I was pretty disappointed I didn’t get the drink due to even posting on the Starbucks photo on Facebook prior to going to Starbucks saying «I can’t wait to try it!!!». We walked away and to my surprise a older Caucasian lady got helped right away as we were walking away. Honesty I’m not one to bring out the race card or even complain about something But it was definitely the first time I’ve felt like I was discriminated and even treated rudely. Worst feeling ever! I’m not someone who needs to be pampered to but as least acknowledge me instead of me leaving and seeing that you helped someone else right away that was the same race. I’m pretty easy to please go read my first review about Chinese take out. Anyways that’s all I have to say.

This Starbucks is inside the Super Target in Blaine. Thus, it has no drive-​thru, has a limited seating area and loses the cool coffee shop vibe. Regardless, I’m still a fan and would recommend this target any day. The service was swift and the baristas were super friendly and bubbly. By far, one of the best service I’ve ever received at a Starbucks. My drink came out quickly and I was happy with the flavor and quality. The coffee tasted fresh, which I appreciate.
If this was a stand-​alone location, I would definitely give it more stars. I love the convenience of having a Starbucks inside of my grocery store, but as a result this Starbucks loses some of its Starbucks charm. But if you’re not planning on sitting in the shop and just get your drink to go, this place is definitely a 5 star out of 5 coffee shop in my book!
