Their internet indoor is like shit, always break down then you can’t work or study in your room around 24 – 48 hours. Ridiculous expensive deposit fees, around 1500 bucks, also they got a stupid return policy, they will not return your deposit within 21 days after you move out stupid fuck. Some break-in inspection in the morning but actually they didn’t do anything in your room just break in hang around loudly shouting and leave. If you like those things above, live here.

I only stayed here one night while I was visiting Minneapolis, so my opinion about this place may not be the most accurate. On that note. Things I didn’t like: The rooms were small. I agree with the previous review about the slight smell. You can hear EVERYTHING! The room is furnished but the mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. Just from staying there one night I could not imagine leasing a room here.

I’ll start off by saying I’ve lived here for two years. I’m graduating this year, so i won’t be able to stay a third. I found living at Stadium View has been very good to me. The things I like about this place are that I have my own bedroom and bathroom. I live with three of my buddies and they are pigs, so if I shared a room with them, I don’t think we would be friends to this day. I like the front desk. It’s open all the time, so it’s convenient since I’ve locked myself out of my apartment multiple times. The amenities are cool as well. The staff seems pretty legit. Maintenance is pretty good about fixing things right away. The office has new people every year, but I guess that’s what you get when you hire students. They are nice… and some are easy on the eyes. The gripe I have is about the cost of parking. I understand it’s Minneapolis, but it’s pretty expensive. I’ve seen other people post they hate the rate. So do I, but if you don’t like it, stop bitching and don’t use it. Overall, Stadium View is a great place and I feel comfortable telling others about it. My roommates like it too, but they’re too lazy to post anything online. Oh, it also helps that I won a TV during a resident give-away as a prize. That didn’t change my mind about this place, just solidified it. I still have it in my room. If you want a place to live that cheaper than the other crapholes around campus like University Village and University Commons, live here. Just my two cents.

I have lived here for two years now, and have been generally pleased with everything. I figure the best way to execute this review is by making two lists: what I like and what I don’t like. Things I like: –24 hour workout room. I’m able to go at 11PM and there usually is only a couple other people working out-allowing me to get on almost any machine I’d like. There are two treadmills, 4 elliptical machines, free weights, a couple benches, and a few random machines. It’s very convenient, but if you’re a student at the U, I would recommend working out at the rec center on campus when you can-there is a much wider range of machines available for use. –24 hour front desk. This is very helpful! If you have a package, you can pick it up at anytime during the day. –Furnished. Very helpful for someone who lives far away or doesn’t want to buy a lot of furniture. Everything you need furniture-wise is included! –Very quick maintenance. There have been many times I have had to submit an online maintenance request, and they always come either the same day or the next day. –Free tanning. They added new stand up beds about 5 months ago, which was an upgrade from their old beds. This is a great money-saver if you currently spend money on tanning at a salon-it may not give as great of a tan, but is worth the money saved. –Own bathroom. Can’t beat not having to wait to take a shower or use a sink. This has been on of my favorite things, and don’t think I’ll be able to go back to sharing a bathroom for quite a while. –In-apartment laundry. This has been huge. If I’m in a rush, I’m able to throw in a quick load of laundry, leave. and come back to throw my clothing in the dryer on my own time. It sure beats having to sit and wait for all of your loads to be done in a public space and having to worry about having clothing taken from the washer, etc. –Close to campus. Easy to walk anywhere on campus, otherwise there is a bus stop for the 50 right outside the building on Huron Blvd.(Stops there every 10 minutes in the morning, not positive about later in the day.) Things I don’t like: –Can’t open any windows. Now that it’s spring all I want to do is enjoy fresh air and hear the birds chirping. but sadly can’t. We have our air on 24 hours because of this. There is a dollar limit set for energy use each month, and even with having our air on at all times during the day we have never gone over. –Convenience charge for online payment. There is a $ 15 «convenience» charge each time you choose to pay with a credit or debit card online. This can be a one-time occurrence if you set automatic payments, so I recommend doing this! –Internet speed: They recently tripled the bandwith for the building, but the internet can still be slow later at night when a lot of people are using it. This is case only when using my wireless router, so it’s a quick fix to directly plug in my ethernet cord if needed. –Hallway smells like garbage. Most days when I come home, it smells like garbage right outside my apartment. This is due to no window ventilation adn people not closing the garbage chute on the floor-easy fix, but can be annoying. Overall, I would recommend living here if you are looking for a location pretty close to campus.(It takes me a little under 15 minutes to walk from the apartment to Smith Hall in the mall area.) Wouldn’t recommend this location for a family, even though I have seen a few around the building. The price is too high for that kind of situation, and there are a lot of other options nearby.
