Sky Nails

This family-​owned salon is great. I get the solar nails (pink and white). Unlike other salons I’ve been to, Helen sculpts each nail with a paint brush. This results in a much thinner nail which looks natural much longer. Their prices are also very reasonable. They are one of the few places I am comfortable having a pedicure as a diabetic. They don’t use callus knives, and they avoid being rough with the cuticles. All their implements are sterilized between clients.
I recently got their deluxe pedicure. This was nearly 2 hours of lovely pampering. They recently replaced all the pedicure chairs, and the massage function is great. The deluxe pedicure included a salt scrub, a clay mask on my feet that cured inside heated booties, and then a paraffin soak. There was a lovely lower leg and foot massage.

Went for a pedicure. They placed me in a chair that the massage feature didn’t work. Said, sorry, it just broke. Hello, that’s the whole point of a pedicure. Pedicure took way too long too in a very uncomfortable chair!
