I will forever go to Shear Trends as long as I am downtown. After a botched gel polish application (at a different nail salon, of course) I made an appointment with Lynne. I have now had the polish on for 3 weeks and have just rescheduled a new application with her. She was friendly, a great conversationalist, and obviously loves what she does!

Just wanted to add that I have been going here for well over a year now to cut and color my hair and I can’t say enough good things about them! Everyone is still as friendly as ever and I could sit and talk to Nina all day. When I colored my hair for the first time she was very careful to not go too dark or permanent so I wouldn’t regret my decision. It looked and felt great.

As others have stated… will NOT find a nicer bunch of folks… less like a business and more like a family. Just walked in an Denny went out of his way to make sure i liked my hair cut. Seems to be just good people– a fan. PS– don’t let the woman eating lunch at the main desk scare you off… seriously nice place.

I was in town on business and since I had been traveling a lot I needed to get a haircut and a co-​worker suggested this place as it was right near my hotel. I called and they were able to get me an appointment for that day which I thought was fabulous.
I saw John and he greeted me with a smile and proceeded to cut my hair. We chatted a bit and the conversation was very nice and he was very pleasant and would be someone I would probably come back to if I found myself in the same predicament which may be next month. He cut my hair just the way I wanted and did a great job. The best thing was the that the prices were more than reasonable.
