Sears Outlet

Some searching is necessary but the staff is very helpful and there are good bargains to be found at the Sears Outlet Store.

I must have gotten lucky — I got a great Bosch stainless steel dishwasher at about half price. the «dent» was teeny and on the door on the side — you couldn’t’ see it at all from the front. There is plenty of scratch and dent stuff — just look whatever you’re buying over carefully and use common sense — this place is what it is. Worst experience in my life!!! Ordered a range for rental property over the phone Thursday and was delivered Saturday without a powercord. Once power cord was purchased from sears Sunday discovered it did not work. Called sears outlet and was told would not be able to get a repair guy until 13 days. Was offered a return but told maybe the store could get someone sooner (thinking next day or so). Called Sears outlet twice on Monday only to be told they were working on it. On Tuesday morning Sears outlet connected me with Jim who with attitude told me someone would need to look at it before they would process a refund I stated that is unacceptable as I already ordered another stove HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! The sears outlet CSR was still on the phone and heard it but nothing was done. Called today Friday and was told same old thing they need to have a repairman look at it before they will take it back. Told them they can look at it all they want. How can they deliver a stove that does not work. How can they expect a family of 5 to go 10 days without a stove? I will NEVER order another appliance from Sears again. They make it overly obvious that they could care less about you as a customer, you are definately always wrong…

First, I called to see if the outlet would take a rebate from a warranty. I was told they did. I went twice attempting to buy something but alas, old computers, inaccurate information and a manager who was as rude as I have ever experienced in a store. This store was a lot less than I expected. I was expecting this gold mine of great deals, and really there was a very limited selection. I was looking for a snowblower and and what was there seemed to be the high-​end models, so really not a good value.
Also worth noting, the location is very decrepit. Imagine a Soviet version of Sears. Or an abandoned warehouse in Anacostia from «NCIS».
I did give it two stars though, because it is an outlet, there is some chance you will find a good deal. I probably won’t return though.
