RJ Moving

We were really pleased with the service from RJ Movers. They moved us locally about 20 miles away. It was a really hot day and the guys worked really hard. We had some complicated (& heavy) furniture and they were able to take care of it. Very pleased. Would hire again and recommended them to a friend who is moving later this year.

With all of the good reviews on Unilocal I was expecting a great experience with this company. I have a small second floor studio (+elevator) with only a few pieces of smaller furniture and a flexible move date. I emailed for a quote and to set up a move date. I requested a move date on a weekend initially. I get an email back saying they don’t work on weekends, sorry. Ok. So I email back asking about moving on a friday. Another email back saying they can’t help, sorry. Ok sure. So I email back again emphasizing that my move in date is flexible, and asked them what dates they had available. I get another email back with only one date/​time and a quote of over 3 hours to move my 5 pieces of furniture 8 minutes away. These were the rudest emails I’ve gotten from a company that I can remember. I called another local company who was extremely pleasant and quoted me for 1 – 1.5 hours of work and didn’t give me a hard time on scheduling.

This is the 2^nd time I have used this moving company. I was so impressed with the movers that I called them back for the second move. Both moves were less than a year apart. They arrive when they say they will and are very professional from beginning to end. They took great care with all my belongings and were very happy to accommodate any special requests. I have been a corporate gypsy my whole life and RJ’s surpassed many of the national movers I have had in the past. You will not be disappointed in hiring this company. Ruth in the office is another wonderful asset to this organization also. On this last move it was scheduled for Wed. ⁴⁄₁₅ and circumstances beyond my control on Tues. surfaced and the move had to be rescheduled for Fri., ⁴⁄₁₇. They were able to accommodate me and the move was clear sailing thru out. You will not be disappointed in hiring RJ’s!!!

Team showed up at 7:30, right on time, and the whole experience was great from there. Very professional and hard working. There were some tough items including a treadmill and a pool table, and everything was moved without damage to the home or item. I was continually impressed by the whole team throughout.
My only issue was that we went a half hour over the estimate (8.5 hours) and we had done a considerable amount of moving prior. If we had left the rest of our stuff and not moved it ourselves it certainly would have gone 1 – 2 hours over the estimate. Not enough of an issue to lose a star though!

Would give them 6 stars if I could! The movers were on time, very friendly and polite, took excellent care of all our belongings and worked VERY quickly and efficiently. They even finished the move in 45 minutes less than we had been quoted. I could not be happier with the experience and would never consider using someone else if I had another move to make.

Exceptional moving company. RJ Moving company was on time, sent out courteous workers and they worked constantly. They overestimated the cost of moving and issued a credit the same day. I would definitely use them again.

The whole experience with RJ Moving could not have been easier or better. From the quote to the actual move, this is the best customer service I’ve ever received. Bethanny and Ruth in the office are very detailed and responsive. James, Ian and Jeremy showed up on time and were extremely professional and thorough. They were careful to protect, cover, disassemble and wrap all items. Quote was exact and I am definitely using this place again!

RJ Moving provided excellent service. This was a last minute, short move between Bloomington and Edina. They did everything quickly, professionally and with great care. The two guys moving us couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Thank you!

These guys moved us in the snow and below zero temps and took it all in stride. Very friendly and professional. Great crew.
Final bill came in under estimate also which never hurts. Highly recommended.

Moving is never fun, but these guys are great! The staff is friendly and professional.
Owner is very responsive and does all he can to provide a customized solution to help people with their moving needs.
