It was delicious. The wait staff was pleasant. They do such a good job with the food and atmosphere that the wait can be a little long at times and street parking means you might have to walk a little bit, but the wait and the walk are worth it.

Really good pizza, out of the box ideas. Kimchi pizza was really awesome. Pistachio Pesto Garlic bread was my favorite but seasonal so you need to be lucky to get that.

Pizzeria Lola is known as the best pizzeria in the greater Minneapolis area, as a visitor and fellow pizza aficionado, I had to see what all the fuss was about. Food: Our servers description of the pizzas made us want them all, but we settled for two. I had the Forager and my boyfriend ordered the Korean BBQ. The Forager contained sautéed mushrooms, taleggio and fontina cheeses and a truffle oil as the base. The cheeses complimented each other since one is mild in flavor(taleggio) while the other is very rich(fontina). The truffle oil added a nutty and wood-like mushroom component. I added calabrian chilies for a bit of a kick; they brought a roasted flavor to the pizza which cut through all of the rich flavors from other ingredients. The crust was crispy and thin, yet strong enough to hold all of the ingredients in place. My boyfriend’s Korean BBQ was tasty, but too sweet for me due to the soy-vinaigrette base. The portion of short rib was fair and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Because of the savory meat and sweet soy sauce, the arugula was a nice counterpart that added freshness to the pizza. Service: I’m terrible for not catching my servers name, but she was amazing(short and dark curly hair, facial piercing). Attentive throughout our dining and her hospitality was genuine and pure. Never have I come across a more knowledgeable server that not only understood the menu and where most ingredients were sourced from, but also what to expect in taste and what ingredients could be added to enhance the pizza flavor. Ambiance: Simple, casual and cheerful environment. Outside and inside seating to accommodate for all party sizes. Price: Pizzas are all one size(12 inch/6 pc.) and range in price from about $ 12-$ 17, extras will cost you. In terms of portion size, one pizza can feed a very hungry person or 1 – 2 semi-hungry individuals. It really depends on your appetite. Overall: Traditional, yet modern, high-quality, wood-fired artisan pizzas which are fairly portioned and priced. I’d definitely come back and try some more if ever in the area.

I have had Pizzeria Lola on my list of places to eat at forever now & we finally went last night, SO in love with their pizza! Wow what a hard decision SO we choose multiple pizza and way over ate :) First off we had the meatballs I was pleasantly surprised — when I think meatball I think boring but they were delish! Then we ordered the My Sha-roni(house made pepperoni & sausage), Korean BBQ& a special I didn’t catch the name but it has goat cheese, olives, garlic and leeks, we did ask for bacon to be added but they forgot :(but thats ok we were not charged and it was wonderful just as is! I love the fun interior, the patio was full but that would be nice to sit out there. Beer list was really good, I enjoyed a couple Worthy Adversaries by Fulton — very refreshing. Can’t wait to go back!

I’m very, very picky when it comes to pizza — there are very few places that I’ll actually keep coming back to but this is one of them! The location is great, with a small private lot but lots of free street parking! The restaurant is small inside but they also have an outdoor patio. I came here with the boyfriend, boyfriend’s uncle + gf on a Thursday evening around 5 pm and were seated indoors. I love the interior décor, it has a homely feel to it with wooden tables and warm lighting. My boyfriend told me to say that the plates were ugly but don’t listen to him because I absolutely love them — they’re all so cute and quirky! As for the food, I love the unique flavors and the thin crust. I suggest going in a group and ordering multiple pizzas to share because there are too many options to choose just one. PIZZAS I’VETRIED: — The Sunnyside — put an egg on anything and I AMTHERE! I absolutely loved this one. It was savory and cheesy and yolky, yum yum yum! — Korean BBQ — there was just so much flavor in each bite! It was a great mix of cheese, arugula, and(sesame & soy) sauce. Not to mention the meat was so tender — Lady Zaza — I wish I could tell you more about this one but I tried it so long ago, I can’t remember it that well… I DO remember it being flavorful and spicy! — The Forager — I really wanted to like this one because I love mushrooms and truffle oil but the truffle oil was just too overwhelming — My Sha’Roni! — this is your classic pepperoni pizza but better Service was wonderful, our waitress was so nice and helpful with suggestions. Overall, I’ve had wonderful experiences and I’ll definitely be back! NOTE: Don’t forget to take some photo booth pictures afterwards! It’s free, just ask for a code from your waiter/waitress after you’ve eaten :)

Is Comcast customer service a pain in the A? YES. Is my longhaired cat basically just a walking tumbleweed? YES. Is Korean Fusion + pizza the perfect combo? YES. Just so obvious. All of it. I came here at 5pm and snagged patio seats and I immediately fell in love with their unique pretty plates(birds and flowers for days). We ordered the caesar salad, Korean BBQ pizza, and The Iowan pizza. The za’s are 12″ in diameter but packed with flavor. The salad was just what I wanted on a sunny spring day. The romaine was crisp and the dressing was creamy and citrusy. I wish there was more hearts of palm though, I only found 2 slivers. And then the pizzas came out, hot, crispy, and melty. I loved the Korean BBQ — it was savory, tangy, crispy, creamy/cheesy, and the dressed arugula gave it a little kick. The Iowan was a hit too — gotta love garlic, ricotta, arugula, and prosciutto! It definitely hit all of the happy flavor notes too. Service was on the slow side, and I had to flag down the server at the end to try to pay after a wait. But the food was so good and I’ll totally be back soon for the famous Sunnyside!

It was good but I think we played it all wrong. We split the roasted carrots(amazing, I love carrots and you never see them as sides) as an app and ended up getting the sweet Italian pizza… We should have tried one of the various creations that are unique to give a fair review as that is why they are known for. The crust is really thin and the pizza my fiancée was craving was your typical pizza… Nothing crazy… I really wanted the lady zaza… He talked me into the sweet Italian which was really good but it missed the mark for both our appetites that day. It’s not you pizza parlor pizza, it’s artisan pizza and you really need to follow your gut. I totally was stank eyeing all of the pizzas coming out… I will def come again w the girls next time! Everything looked so good!!!

DELICIOUS pizzas! I have always loved brick oven pizzas, that crust just can’t be beat! This place has a dog friendly patio and great service. I ordered the Lady Zaza pizza and it was everything I had expected and more. It has to have been the best pizza I have had in a long time and I can get pretty picky with pizzas. They have a really god selection for pizzas, with the usual cheese or sausage pizza and then the more elaborate pizzas like the Lady Zaza and the Sunnyside Up pizza. The prices were reasonable to me, with 1 pizza being able to feed 1 – 2 people, for me it was closer to the 2 people side. I heard about Pizzeria Lola from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I am not sure how old the episode was by the time I visited here but I know that the quality is just as great as what they showed on the show. For dessert we tried the grapefruit sorbet and it was really good, it was very tart, exactly what I was expecting for a grapefruit dessert! I would gladly come here again to try more of their pizzas! Highly reccmmend you stop in here and either dine-in or order to-go, great place for pizza lovers!

This place is really a gem. It is snuggled so nicely in the neighborhood! Service is prompt and so kind! Food was fresh and different … I will be traveling to MN for work through June and I will certainly be back. Pizza crust was thin, airy and not too filling(you know when you get loaded up with ok food) the proportion is just right. I got the pizza with the sunny side egg on it! So delicious. If your near by certainly drop by here, you’ll be glad you did!

Birthday treat #1! I don’t think we could have chosen a better place, in my opinion, as a pizza lover and fan of all things pizza! I saw this on DD&D and had to try it. We ventured over on a Friday night knowing that there was going to be a line and we would probably have to wait a bit, we were right. Not a bad wait though and it’s such a cozy little place their was lots to look at to pass the time quickly. Always fun to watch the oven guy load pies and spin them through the oven. Had a couple glasses of wine and my daughter had a Cheerwine(southern black cherry soda that I didn’t know you could get in MN), all was very good. Once we got a table the service was great(it was actually very good while standing waiting for a table as well). The pizza came quickly as I was expecting for a wood fired over and watching them come and go as we waited. I had the Sunrise which had a couple of eggs on top. One of my favorite things on a pizza but they have to be done just right and these were. Such great taste, the crust was soft and chewy with a nice crunch and a little smoky flavor. I am a big fan of Punch pizza but this place is just better, it just is. I would highly recommend standing in line, enjoying the view knowing what is coming! KT

Appeared on Diner’s Drive-In’s and Dives. We were visiting Minneapolis so we decided to drop in. We were not disappointed. My wife and I shared the meatballs for a starter. I had the My Sh-roni pizza and my wife had the Iowan. The food was delicious and we finished off with a Root Beer Float. Highly recommend this place as there was a 20 minute wait on a Monday night. Great family type atmosphere and friendly service.

The food here is good but the restaurant is so loud that you can’t hear across the booth from someone. If you want try try the pizza which is very good I would go during the summer, get there early to beat very long lines and sit outside. I was bummed because this is literally in my neighborhood and a walk away for me but I would rather drive somewhere else.

I’m addicted. If I lived anywhere close, I’d be here all the time for pizza. I had seen the episode of Diners, Drive Ins and Dives which just happened to feature LoLa before I made a trip to Minneapolis. I HAD to go check it out. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was casual. But very together. I love the coffee can lights. I thought the different plates were a cool touch. However, the disco ball… Not so much. I don’t think it vibes with the place. The food. Good lord. The pizza. Well, the BF and I couldn’t decide, so we ordered two: Korean Bbq and My Sha-Roni. The Korean Bbq was really good. I’m not a huge sesame oil fan(they put a vinaigrette on the arugula) but it was SO tasty. The My Sha-Roni is made with Sausage and Pepperoni. The sauce is fantastic. The wood fired oven made the thin crust have a nice crispness to it. The housemade vanilla soft serve was amazing and the chocolate chip cookies were nice and warm. The photo booth is really cool. You should try it. I will return for pizza.

This is it. This is the pizza. THE pizza!!! The best pizza in Minnesota!!! Look no further than Pizzeria Lola! That first bite, oh my that first bite. I had the«My Sha-roni» pizza, which is just your standard sausage and pep pizza, but with a major Lola spin. The sausage is fennel sausage, and none of that perfectly sliced generic stuff, it’s just chunks and yummy sausage. The pepperoni is cured and cut into the size of tiddlywinks, that way you get some pep on every bite. The crust, well, all I’ll say about the crust is NONEBETTER!!! I was beyond pleased with my first experience with Lola, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find myself there tomorrow.

My roommates and I came here to celebrate one of our birthdays and it was great! We got seated right away around dinner time on a Monday evening, but the place was still crowded and I could tell it’s well liked. The décor is super cute — lots of lights hanging from the ceiling, a huge oven in the middle, and I love the design of the logo/menus. SO, we all decided to order our own pizzas each thinking that we’d bring some home for lunch leftovers the next day… but of course I cleared the whole freaking pizza because it was TOOGOOD. And the creepy/weird part is after I was done, I wasn’t even uncomfortably full??? HAHA help. Anyway, I ordered the Sunnyside and it was amazing! I loved it because it wasn’t heavy, greasy or didn’t upset my stomach, which is amazing because I tend to have a super sensitive stomach. I loved the eggs on top of the pizza, and the crust was perfectly crunchy and thin. Loved everything about this place. I want to try the Korean BBQ next time. I’ll definitely be back!

A lot of hype about Pizzeria Lola so I had to try it out. I love the atmosphere and environment. What a beautiful little place located in the heart of a nice neighborhood. I ordered the kimchi pizza. It was a bit on the spicy side. I love spicy food but I started sweating due to the heat. Overall, the pizza was delicious and original. I’ve never had anything like it. The ice cream for dessert was the cherry on top! That was definitely a great experience and a MUSTTRY. Please do not leave without trying it.

Pizzeria Lola you’ve held up to all the hype! Every time I drive by in the summer there is always a crowd outside and a line waiting to get in. I would ask myself what is it about Pizzeria Lola that everyone loves. It didn’t take long before I knew what everyone was talking about it. The menu is simply but so interesting and I love the names they’ve picked out for all the pizzas! How creative is a pizza named«Lady Zaza». We started with the seasonal veggies. A mixture of squash and brussels sprouts and some parmesean. Oh my goodness! I’m still craving more. My group couldn’t resist the«BBQ Korean». It’s such a unique combination of favors. We also tried the«Italian». Simple but delicious and the crust is crispy and the perfect thickness. If you can’t dine in just know take out is available too. I think Pizzeria Lola has this perfected. When I called in to place our order they told me «exactly» when it would ready. When we picked up our takeout order… it was ready to the minute promised. Impressive to say the least. Before you leave don’t forget the sweet photo booth! My daughter and I had time for a few shots while we waited for our take out order. For only $ 3(and $ 2 after that) you can have some fun and get your face on the wall too! Pizzeria Lola you have it all.

I have no reservation whatsoever in saying that this place holds the title for THEBEST pizza in town. Every pizza I have tried have unique flavors to them. I consider these pizza pies to be work of art. These are gourmet pizzas if you will. You will find ingredients that are new to you here but boy do they wake up your taste buds to a whole new level. There’s not much to say about Lola that hasn’t been said already. If you love pizza, come here and enjoy one of the best pizza experiences ever. Sharing is fun. Eating is fun. Lola has exceeded in both categories while delivering excellent tasting pizzas for everyone to enjoy. To top it all off, the soft serve is a must with the olive oil, sea salt and cacao nibs! WTF over? Trust me, it’s magnificent. Your entire mouth and heart can thank me later for the cold treat!

Wood-fired artisan pizzas with fresh, tasty toppings. They are quite small with only six slices. These pizzas are more like thin-crust, personal pizzas. I’d suggest ordering a few to fill your party up, but they are kinda expensive. The staff here is amazing. Our waitress was extremely friendly, fast, and checked on us constantly. Great job on remembering all 18 toppings on the special pizza of the day. The price and the booths/tables would keep us from coming back. The booths were very small and uncomfortable. Even though they serve alcohol, we wouldn’t be able to sit long enough to enjoy them.
