Parking Lot -- Marquette and 11th

FREE PARKING… WHOOO HOOO!!!
I would agree with Sarah P. Marquette IS a cluster f#$%! (at least the other week it still was, anyways)
I came downtown to meet a friend for some drinks at Brits Pub around 7pm, so needless to say there were no parking spots on the streets available at all. I decided to park here, since she lives in a studio on Marquette. this was the closest place to park.
We went for drinks, everything was fun and all, and I didn’t realize that the ramp actually closes!!! I got back to my car around 1ish. not exactly sure. But the place was really shady. I mean really shady. Like tons of weirdos hanging out in the entrance way and what not, I was a bit worried, but they were cool. Me, being the idiot that I can be, had a little convo with them. they seemed alright!
As I was leaving, THAT’S when I realized they didn’t take cards! WHAT. who the F— doesn’t accept card these days? I didn’t have any cash on me at all, but then I also realized that there was NO ONE there to even take my money! so what did I do? I did the dine and ditch of parking ramps of course! A Park and Ditch! HA.
The ramp gives you these little envelope things to stick your money in since it was closed, so I just ripped off my car number, and put the empty envelope in the slot. The gates won’t open until you put your envelope in the slot, so I had to think of something fast. Now, there is no evidence. I don’t feel bad about it either. I’m sure it happens all the time. Now, if there is a ticket in my mail in a few weeks, well, that is a different story. I’ll keep y’all posted!
Maybe I shouldn’t post that, but hey, who doesn’t like to know about money saving tips!!!

Marquette is a total cluster f#$% right now. Ugh. Was attending a charity luncheon for Crisis Nursery at the Hilton and was running a wee bit behind. Luckily the ramp was there right before I would have been forced to circle the block one more time and potentially be late for this fundraiser.
Hour and a half later… get to car, wait in long line, finally approach check-​out person. they don’t accept credit cards. of course not. no cash. F*&%, F*&$, F*&$. ok, they say… give me your drivers licesne # and tel #. I do. I get an envelope and paper stating I’ll pay the 5 bucks. No problem. They let me go. Relieved.
But, who the F*&# doesn’t accept credit cards?
