Ordered a cake pan which came in a timely manner for a bunt cake pan that is in the shape of conversation hearts. It is sturdy. It is supposed to be non stick or reasonably so, however, because of the design I still suggest using butter and sugar to coat to get the mold out in one piece. Reasonably priced.

I may not be a kid anymore and don’t spend every single dollar I have on toys/bubble gum cards… Okay, I am lying I probably spend ½ of my salary at Hub Hobby and increasing my probability my demise and divorce. But my ‘other’ fetish is buying kitchen gadgets and it is up there with my fondness with model airplanes. Why is that okay? Well, my wife doesn’t have issue I spend time in the kitchen cooking than me spending my time in my man cave with my other ‘worthless’ toys. Nordic Ware has pretty much everything that most chefs would love to have. I love their variety of pans and gadgets, especially their closeout items. Although most closeouts for other stores are not worth it because most items nobody wants. It is not true in this case when I went to this store. It is located on the far left wall when you walked into the show room. There were plenty of non-stick pans as well as commercial pans to choose from. I could easily spend 2 – 3 hours looking at every single item here and spend my entire pay check for everything I wanted. If you love kitchen gadgets, this is a great place to go to explore on a lazy Saturday.

it easy to see the sign for this place but harder to actually find a way in to the little frontage road it is on. I did make it though and really hoped to find better steals and deals there… than I did. The staff is really friendly and nice and the best thing I found out was that sometimes they host cooking classes for reasonable prices. I quickly signed me and a friend up and it was a wonderful evening. We made homemade guac and salsa — and some pork loin — I really enjoyed the class and it was all ladies… no freakin’ couples which I am sick to death of when I try to go and have a ladies night out… these newlyweds haven’t been married long enough to appreciate a night out alone yet… You can save a couple dollars on nordic ware here but nothing that makes you want to buy the store out because they still aren’t giving it away…

Cookware/bakeware store that is well lit and staffed by friendly helpful people. While the layout could be more logical the fact is that the items for sale are top notch and at very great prices. Be sure to check out some of the smaller items in the corners and near the entry door as there are some great finds, and may work well if you need some stocking stuffers. There are some excellent buys such as the silicone baking mat(similar to Silpat) for about half of what I have seen in other stores. If you have recently moved and need to stock a kitchen this place is a MUST visit! The store also hosts cooking classes, but I can not review that aspect, as I have not attended any of their classes yet.

Although there are many a day when I find myself reheating leftover frozen pizzas for dinner, I like to think of myself as a closet cooking/baking freak! So I was pretty excited when my mom brought me here… I have received a few pretty cool gifts from here before, and couldn’t wait to make a stop. If you need cooking or baking gadgets, pans, or obscure pastry dishes, this is the place! Not a comprehensive kitchen store, as Amanda S. said, but it has some stuff that would be hard to find elsewhere. Personally, I am a huge fan of Bundt cakes, and their selection of funky shaped Bundt pans had me itching to bake some sassy cakes! I ended purchasing a Bundt pan in the shape of a castle(my second castle cake pan… I will soon be baking whole villages worth of cakes!) Also, I really liked the interesting kitchen trinkets they have here. I bought a container where you can make a boiled onion or steamed broccoli in just 5 minutes in the microwave. Also, they have cool clay disks that make sure your brown sugar never goes hard! Although this place is pretty out of the way, if your kitchen needs some spontaneity or you just want some random bakeware, come to this place!

Closeout bakeware and cookware, sometimes at deeply discounted prices. Springform, bundt, sheet — basically any sort of cake pan you need. They have a closeout section in the back and occasional sales as well. It’s not as comprehensive as a regular kitchen store, but has a big selection of their brand’s different products. Really great for bakers — I got a lovely springform pan for much less than average retail. additionally, friendly mom-like staff and, when I was visiting, cake samples.

I live very close to the Nordic Ware Factory Outlet yet it had taken me nearly 4 years to stop in. Probably because it’s located on a frontage road parallel to Hghwy 7 and it never seemed convenient enough. But I’m glad I finally did. Need a pastry board for Lefse? How about a bundt pan for every imaginable holiday? Dough scoopers? Stove top kitchen smoker? Spring form pans? Well, they have it all here. Don’t confuse this place with any William Sonoma, Cooks, or Sur la Table – it’s in no way exhaustive. It’s also full of stuff I think one hardly needs(again 30 types of bundt pans), but it’s fun to poke around. It also motivates you to bake, which could be a good or bad thing, but considering it’s the holiday season, it’s at least apropos. As far as the prices are concerned, I can’t say I found any really good deals(but then again, I’m not really sure how much a spritzer, rosette maker, or bundt pan should cost), but they did have a selection of seconds. Nothing seemed pricey. Nordic Ware is local, and it’s always fun to support local. And even though it’s a little random, you should check it out.
