It’s been ages since I came by here but all I remember is mediocre soup and sammy. Just looked at their website… holy expensive! The place had me curious for a while and then after I tried, I guess I never returned.

I didn’t have nearly the bad experiences that the other reviewers did. The take out salads are pretty good, but packed tightly into the box, and I usually have to dump the whole thing onto a plate if I want to put dressing on. When I eat in, I was always pretty happy with the sandwiches I ordered, but the omelette was pretty bad. Service has always been pretty good.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more depressed eating a chicken club sandwich. I came here after wandering around the Gaviidae and Macy’s on a Saturday afternoon. First of all, in general the food court is probably the sorriest one I’ve seen; it was just so… down. Granted, it was 3:30 — 4PM on a Saturday afternoon, but half the stalls were closed, & the McDonald’s(there’s a McDonald’s in downtown? what the whaaat?!) was the only bright(literally) spot. I decided to try Nicol’s, ‘coz it looked kind of funky and fresh. First of all, the place was about to close, so I was about to exit and proceed with a Big Mac & fries, but the guy was insistent on making me a sandwich. So I though, OK, what the heck, he might make an awesome sandwich. I should’ve known… I ordered a chicken club and he proceeded to microwave a sorry piece of chicken breast(no better than the ones at, say, Subway), two small pieces of bacon, and cheese on those rectangle serving plate thingies. He then just put it this bread that he grabbed from the food cart that’s used to pack away stuff, and you get the drift. The saddest thing is, paying $ 6 for the cellophane wrapped piece of blah, and you have me eating, in quiet disdain, a sandwich I could EASILY have made in my own kitchen, if not better.
