My doctor transferred from MINCEP and there was zero effort to contact me and update me on the situation. Paying to establish a professional and personal relationship with a doctor seems to be essential in treating long-term diseases such as epilepsy. Despite the high cost of this service, it is incredibly disappointing that MINCEP does not exercise this degree of professional courtesy – I paid for higher quality care and a personalized relationship yet once again MINCEP falls through. This is compounded by the fact that following my diagnosis, I was told that my driver’s license was temporarily suspended for 6 months which in reality turned out to only be three months. However, there was once again no effort to contact me, so I went an extra 3 months without driving and upon calling MINCEP to schedule an appointment for clearing my suspension, I was notified that in fact I had been needlessly waiting for 3 extra months.
