This store has something for everyone. I was able to find a small amount of board games, and when asking for one I didn’t see– they said they could get it for me. I really like the theme of this place, and although it’s in a basement of a building I found it quite welcoming.

I wasn’t on the lookout for a new gaming shop in the Twin Cities, but I found one. The look and feel of this shop stands a bar above every other shop here. The aesthetics of the shop with its wooden tables and candle-like lights with the wooden floor give it the feel of what you’d expect in a gaming shop. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always running different gaming tournaments almost every night of the week. If you are on the look for a new board game, comics, or to get your card game on, this is the place to stop.

A bunch of gaming tables and gamers in a basement — but it’s a beautiful basement, filled with natural light, recovered wood, and thoughtful décor (a suit of armor to complement the Viking theme). And when I walked in, the group of guys sitting in the back hollered a friendly hello.
Besides games (Settlers, D&D, MtG, etc.), they have a small collection of comics, vinyl, and t-shirts. I’m more into comics than gaming, so I’d love to have a local shop that caters to both hobbies — but adding in more bookshelves would ruin the aesthetics of the place. I’m still pleased that it opened up so close to my apartment.
