Amazing! Beautiful pieces. Best fine jewelry store in the Twin Cities. Friendly staff. Delicious Chocolate too! If you attend the American Craft Council show — you will love this store. They have many artists from the ACC.

I don’t know how you can compare Corazon or Bibelot to Max’s? They have fine jewelry, not fake cheap knock-off’s like they sell at both those places. They DO have jewelry in every taste you can imagine from modern to eclectic from many different, and some well known designers. You might not find the exact piece you want, but they can also do custom orders.

i think that sarah p’s 3 star review is right on. located in the tony excelsior and grand complex, Max’s offers a kind of schizophrenic variety of gifts that run the gamut from chocolates and caramels, to five dollar greeting cards, to forty dollar candles and hundred dollar gemstone necklaces. One VERY cool thing about Max’s; however, is their reward program. When you sign up, 10% of every purchase is stored in an account for you to redeem at any time and at any amount. Pretty cool!

I’ve been eyeing these stackable rings for a while. I’ll go in, try them on, gaze at them lovingly, and then take them off. It’s this dance I do. Someday, I might even buy them. Max’s is a cute little jewelry/gift store in the Excelsior Grand area. As I live near there, I find myself popping in occasionally. I’ve purchased chocolates for friends and my mom bought a lovely glass ornament one year. It doesn’t have«something for everyone» as say, a Bibelot or Corazon, but there are lots of lovely pieces that are sure to brighten everyone’s day.
