A nice little place for some desert after you eat at one of the other many restaurants inside of the market. FRESH as you can get it. Felt like my mom was making home-made ice cream! Good prices and good sizes too. And i loved my sour apple smoothie!

One of the only places to get custard in the city. Great selection of flavors, as well as Italian ice. I got a split scoop of peanut butter and vanilla. Both were creamy and smooth. A must if you’re in the market.

How did I not know this existed?! This tiny little custard stand is the perfect ending to enjoying all the global market goodies. The owner is wonderful and you can tell how passionate she is about her ice cream! They have several rotating flavors including classics like vanilla and strawberry but also unique ones like coconut, black walnut, and birthday cake. Tons to try and she will let you try them! The best part is she will do ½ scoops combining flavors and she is VERY generous with the scoops! My bf even joked if he could get 4 ¼ scoops and and simply replied, «If that’s what you want!» Homegirls was serious. He went with the coconut and black walnut and I the vanilla and strawberry. The ice cream was awesome. Light, not too sweet, and fresh. What’s not to love at $ 2 a scoop?

One of my favorite ice cream place in the cities. I make a point of dropping by any time I’m at the Global Market. The custards are rich and delicious, but not too«heavy.» They hit a nice sweet spot. They have nice touches, like whole blueberries in the blueberry custard, almond pieces in the almond flavor, and coconut shavings in the coconut flavor. The italian ices are a little sweet for my tastes, but it depends on which flavor you get. Texture is quite pleasing if you like that sort of thing. Pricing is quite reasonable if you get the 3 or 4 scoops($ 3.50 and $ 4 respectively), especially compared to say Sebastian Joe’s or Krema. My only complaint is I wish they would get wider serving cups. Both times I went I ordered four scoops they came in taller drink cups. I like to mix and match my flavors, so getting at the bottom two scoops can be a bit of an ordeal if you haven’t finished the top one. First world problems, right?
