Caroline Took over this Shop in March of 2013 and has done an excellent job of turning this shop into a cozy old fashioned Barber Shop, she is Very Sweet, and down to earth, Professional Master Barber, and listens to what you want and need. The hot steam towel after your haircut, not only cleaned the hair off my face and neck, it felt Soothing and refreshing. A great experience all the way around. Would recommend. *****

I got a nice hair cut and perfect shaving. I think you’ll enjoy, if you like to go to the barber shop and treat yourself wisely. Cheers.

I went to Caroline for a haircut shortly after she took over the shop before I headed out of town for a meetiong. My haircut was superb. She listened carefully to what I asked for and gave me the perfect cut. I watched her give two other cuts on heads of hair that were challenging. They both left looking great. Her place is full service so you have great choices. Going back tomorrow for another haircut before I travel again. Jim

I don’t need much when it comes to a barber. When one’s hair is less than 1/8″ long, a quick buzz down to its minimum length is so simple a caveman could do it. Or is it? On a business trip from out of town, I stopped in to Feature Cut for a quick shave. I was seated promptly, and walked out of the shop less than 15 minutes later. Upon getting back to my hotel I did a quick inspection of the work and was aghast to find spots completely missed with the trimmers, across my head and neck. There was no way for me to see these while I was getting cut, as the seats face opposite from the mirrors. When a barber can’t perform an easy-as-it-gets buzz cut, I simply can’t offer more than one star for their service.

I love this place, I’ve been getting my haircuts here for about 10 yrs now … Leo always recognizes me and knows my cut! There’s always some good conversation to go with the cut … Free tip; He spends more time on regulars that will chat with him.

I REALLY wanted to love this place. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with a Michael-Landon-esque mane and asked for a cut. The guy who did my hair rides my bus. It’s a little hole in the wall across from my standard happy-hour bar. The cut only cost $ 10. It’s the only place left downtown where you can get your shoes shined while you get trimmed. It would appear to have everything necessary for a great walk-in barber shop convenient to my daily work life downtown. The problem is, it was just not a good cut. I told him to clipper the sides and back so it would be above the ears and off my collar, but leave it longer on top. He did this in relative terms. The top is longer, by a margin of about a quarter inch. I got the feeling he’s been giving buzz cuts to old men for so long it’s all he does now. The worst part is he’s such a nice man and I hate to review him unfavorably, but my ideal haircut just isn’t in his bag of tricks. I also discovered a couple days later that he left one lock in the geographical center of my crown about an inch and a half longer than the rest of my hair. And so my search for the perfect cheap walk-in haircut continues…
