If your in the area, you have gotta stop in at Dick’s Sports Barbers for a cut. Gary cut my hair tonight. The experience took me back to the days of when I was a kid, getting my hair cut at Delmar Jones’s barbershop. If you like Sport Clips, you’ll love Dick’s it’s much more friendly and better atmosphere. If my travels bring me back to the area, then I’ll definitely be back here for a cut! Ask for Gary he’s awesome!

I got my hair cut from Gary, new guy at the shop. Had a great experience. He is great guy with great conversation and gave me a perfect cut. Gary and Dicks Barber Shop makes you feel very comfortable and is the real deal. I will be coming back to see Gary and this will be the place to refer my friends and family.

Kept me waiting after I showed up for my appt. and had to talk with the guy who hair he cut last, rude and inconsiderate. Too laid back and my haircut was just okay for $ 25+tip. (I tip every barber I go as a common courtesy). I was not too impressed by Dick being a dick to me and pointing out hair issues with my hair. Also, no hot lather neck shave! What the hell?! Every real barber does that, and when I spoke to the lady on the phone before I made my appt., I specifically asked if Dick’s does that, she said, «Yes.» First and last time there! Not worth it. Go to 7^th street barbers if you want a decent haircut at half the price. And be ready for typical Edina stuck-​up, «macho» snooty, older men who look at you like you’re invading their precious little space. I was referred to as the «new guy.»! Sports-​talk do not make a man!

Horrible, it was my first time there. I asked for a comb over. My hair had a great comb over before i walked in the barber shop, all i asked was to clean it up a little bit and i asked not to cut off the top. i cut my hair with a guy named long, he did the complete opposite. cut the top way too low with the scissors and cut the sides all around way too low. What looked like a comb over now looks like a half of a fade and some hair on the top. Horrible, luckily my hair grows quick but than you have to pay $ 25 for a hair cut you were not satisfied with. My first and last time there.

Dick’s is a great place, and a great experience! I was recommended Dick’s when I first came to MN, as I was looking for a place that would give me a quality shear and a good shave. Dick and his crew provide excellent service in a great atmosphere. The care given to my haircuts never slips, no matter how simple the style or routine the trim. A professional shave is something every man should treat himself to, and Dick is one of the very best. Hands of a surgeon, soul or an artist.
If you only get a shave once, gat it at Dick’s. I promise, you’ll do it twice.

I get my haircut from Spencer. He is great and I love the location. The cuts are always on point and the conversation is always as much or as little as you want that day. They have a bunch of tv’s to watch as you wait. The sporting memorabilia on the walls is neat and you always seem to find something else to notice.

Went to Dick’s for the first time when I was in the Twin Cities for an interview. I’ve always been a fan of the old-​school, classic barbershop feel, and Dick’s is about as good as you can get! I had a great experience! Some notes:
Their online scheduling tool is really easy to use, which is helpful. Not sure why you have to create an account, but it wasn’t an inconvenience at all.
When you get to Dick’s parking may appear to be nonexistent… fear not, it’s there. There’s a common lot in the back of the building that Dick’s shares with other businesses.
In terms of the actual haircut, it was perfect. I’ve gone to unisex salons, explained what I want, and gotten the exact opposite. Not at Dick’s! Brandon listened, knew exactly what I was talking about, and delivered. Walked out of the place feeling like a million bucks!
Overall, a fantastic experience. The ONLY complaint I had, and the reason I gave it ⁴⁄₅ stars, was that it was pricey. $ 25 for a haircut ain’t cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. It was worth every penny.

Decided to give Dick’s a shot for the 1^st time today and I was not disappointed! Dick gave me a great haircut and better yet, is one hell of a guy. Great conversation. This will be my go to spot for haircuts from now on.

Amazing place, great stylists and a very friendly staff. I have never been disappointed by them over last 1 year… I highly recommend this place.

You can’t find a better barber shop in Minnesota. Always a quality cut and the shop has a really great atmosphere.

I have been going to Dicks Sports barbers for over 24 years. I’ve tried other places around the city, but none can compare to the Kraemer families skills with a clipper and scissor. I won’t trust anyone else to cut my hair but them!
The staff is friendly, humorous, polite and family orientated. Traditional barber qualities with modern sports themes.
This legendary place is also well known with many MN professional athletes and coaches. So, you’ll never know who you might run into there!

I have two teenage boys… both are picky about their hair. Kind of funny to me! They will only go to Dick’s to get their hair cut because they have always done great with them. They listen to the kids and treat them with respect. I really appreciate the time and effort they spend to get it right.

A classic barber shop with a great sports theme. My son (16) has been going to Scott for several years and looks forward to catching up with him.
Prices are reasonable and people are personable at this iconic spot.

Totally sweet. You can play video games while waiting to get your hair cut. Even if the hair cuts were terrible, video game waiting rooms are enough to merit 5 star status. Additionally, the place is pretty much staffed with all of Dick’s kids, who, in case you were wondering, are awesome.
Spencer always cuts my hair. Spencer and I talk video games while he cuts my hairs. We also talk sports. Oh yeah, and if you’re a girl and enjoy your hair, I would not recommend this place. I don’t think they even own scissors. All buzzers.
