Chipotle Mexican Grill

This is the worst chipotle I have been too. The employees are rude! They didn’t have steak so they told me to wait. So I did and I had about 20 people go ahead of me. Then about 20 minutes later I went up to ask about my steak once the line died down. They said quote «oh forgot» no sorry or anything so I just left. This has happened two times to me so don’t think it was just a bad day it’s not. They obviously don’t train their employees in good enough or they just aren’t very bright.

Worst chipotle I have ever been to. For the second time, this has been the slowest service I have ever experienced. Where are the people? Customers seriously walking out the door behind me. Might as well have been waiting for a 5 course dinner.

We went last night a half hour before they were suppose to close. I asked for vegetables and they said they were gone. I asked if I they could make more and they said no. They said the vegetables are gone, one type of bean was gone, brown rice was gone and one type of meat so we could not order any of those things. If you are still open, how can they do that? There were 4 – 5 people right behind me and even more coming in when I left. When we left, my fiancé said he doesn’t ever want to go back to that location again.

I heard the entire Chipotle brand had to learn sanitary cooking/​serving rules. Yet, my husband was just taken down with food poisoning!

I come in nearly every day on my lunch break. I have read several negative comments about this particular Chipotle, but I have never seen anything that warrants them. Every day I come in and exchange pleasantries with the cashier who remembers me and always greets me with a smile and a positive attitude. Today because of my patronage he decided to pay for my meal. I really love the people here. It is very busy, but that’s to be expected in this location and as nothing to do with the service. Pease keep up the great work! And promote the guy on the register at lunch! Great attitude and will be a great leader one day!

I gave it another chance – I did! I went a month ago and would’ve given it ²⁄₅ stars, but it definitely has earned its 1 star rating this time.
4:50 PM and they have NO Guac (and no attempt at an apology for it.) If you even need to read further…
Workers don’t even say «Hello» or smile. Got the same treatment both times. Food quality is poorest I’ve experienced at a Chipotle. Rice was crunchy last time and fajita veggies are mushy this time. Definitely not the cleanest location either.
The workers seem to enjoy themselves… among themselves, but there’s no attention seemed to be paid to who’s behind the counter by either the workers or management from what I’ve heard and have experienced.
Don’t get me wrong – I love Chipotle, but I’ll be going out of my way to dine at the Excelsior Blvd. location from now on. Save yourself a poor dining experience and do the same.

I love this chipotle with every fiber of my being. Bryan you’re an angel and I love you. This chipotle made our day (and our lives) by handling our guacamole situation. You’re my best friend and I love you all.

I am a die-​hard Chipotle lover. However, this location is one of the most disgusting, disappointing locations I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. When my husband and I walked in, the first employee at the Burrito station rolled his eyes at us. We arrived at 9 o’clock pm, and I know the closing time is 10. I can only imagine that this employee wanted to get done and get out of there. I observed him several separate times that evening showing attitude and disrespect to customers that came in after us. But lo, this was not the end of my Chipotle nightmare. My beloved Burrito was not of normal quality. It was bland, and lukewarm. Moving on to the next issue. I went to the drink station to get my iced tea and raw sugar. But no, no raw sugar for me. The drink station was a disaster, it was filthy, and there was no packet of raw sugar to be seen. I asked another employee who was also at the drink station if they were out of raw sugar or could I please get some. His response? He looked at me, looked at the empty sugar container, looked at me again, and walked away-​never to be seen again. Moving on– the state of the floors and tables was so atrocious. Dirty napkins, straw wrappers, miscellaneous garbage could be seen strewn throughout the establishment. The bathroom was just as bad. I am VERY disappointed in my experience at this location.

There was a dead fly in my old over-​ripe lettuce. I could tell it had been sitting in a container for awhile because its dead fly juice caused it to stick to the lettuce. The staff’s nonchalant attitude regarding this problem was disturbing to say the least. This incident has turned me off to Chipotle altogether regardless of location. INEXCUSABLE how this incident unfolded, and was (not) resolved. I understand a staff’s lack of motivation and caring at a fast food restaurant, but this crossed the line.

I’m going to agree w the other Unilocalers here. This chipotle is awful. We find ourselves either going out of the way to drive to the ridgedale location or regretting breaking down and going here. It is always filthy even during off hours. I actually found a hair in my bowl once. I went back up to the counter bad they seemed put off by my request to remake. I have no doubt any other store would have refunded or thrown some free chips and guac at the issue. We are moving and one of the things we’re looking forward to is having a new chipotle! Avoid this location!

This location is a complete clown show. Unsanitary from the moment you walk in. There is not one employee in the place who takes their job remotely serious. Good luck to whoever owns this franchise location.

This location is a black eye for the franchise.
I had been in a few months back and they ran out of multiple ingredients and the manager comped me a meal. When I tried to go in to receive my comped meal I was told by the «new» manager, who lacked even the slightest degree of professionalism, tact or commitment towards quality customer service, that I needed to come in the next day to receive my comped meal due to corporate policy and accounting, so she couldn’t help me. Oddly enough, when I asked her who her manager or who else I could speak with, she then comped my meal while making sure to accuse me of trying to get a free meal. Ridiculous.
To add insult to injury, there was over a foot long piece of hair in my burrito bowl.
Too bad there aren’t negative star ratings.

Doesnt even deserve one star. It was inedible due to terrible guacamole, bad service and an overall lack in cooking skills. It would be worth your time and to your taste buds to go to a different location. WORST LOCATION I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Chipotle must be paying people to write positive Unilocal reviews for this location, because anyone that has actually been here would never rate it more than 1 star.
You’re guaranteed 2 things at this Chipotle in Golden Valley:
1. You will have to wait. The line can be anywhere from 5 to 50 people long, and you will have to wait between 15 and 45 minutes. This is primarily because the workers behind the counter just don’t care, so they work as slowly as possible. I can’t even imagine how much revenue this store loses because of people walking out without ordering because of the long lines.
* They even disabled ordering from the mobile app recently, so you can’t avoid the lines
2. They will always be out of something. More than half of the times that I’ve been there, they are out of chicken or barbacoa or fajita veggies. It’s so frustrating after that long wait in line, to find that they are out of the thing you’ve been waiting in line all that time for.
I’ve probably visited 30 different Chipotle locations around the country, and they have all been very good, except for this one.

I absolutely love chipotle. But this location is be far the worst I’ve been to. The service is slow, and the employees seem like they could care less about even making eye contact, let alone smile at you. The employees are also too busy talking to each other to really pay attention to you. As we were paying last week, my husband asked for a bag of chips. The guy ringing us up was talking to someone behind him, and hadn’t grabbed the chips for is. While still looking at his coworker, he asked if we wanted anything else and my husband said «just that bag of chips…». The guy said with an attitude «no, I mean anything BESIDES that». If it weren’t the most convenient Chipotle to go to I would never go back. It seems like this place is in desperate need of more management. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because at least their food tastes good! But don’t expect your burritos to be wrapped without ripping or the receive service with a smile.

The absolute worst customer service here! I come in last week at 9:45 trying to get a bowl to go before they close and they’re already cleaning up. The people working the line get all pissy and moan about having to deal with me a customer this late when they are clearly still open for 15 more mins. I call the manager a couple days later and get told he’s gonna handle it and tells me he next meal is on him and then when I tell him my name and information so he has it in his system he hangs up on me… ARE YOU KIDDING!!! Never going back to this shitty location again beware everyone!!!

Come on now, Winnetka Chipolte. You’ve finally become so slow that the line snakes through the restaurant and out the door. Figure out your process. Waaaaay too slow.

I live right around the corner, and make my way to this chipotle once or twice a month. It’s a busy location but normally the service is quick and friendly. Today at noon it was the opposite. It was as busy as usual (a line of about 15 or so people), but the workers had zero sence of urgency. It took 25 minutes to get through the people in front of me, because the workers were operating at a sales pace. Lastly, the food was lukewarm by the time I started eating. I normally love this location but the Sunday crew needs some serious work.

I call this review «Elitist in Douche Minor».
Chipotle is one of those places that I have to be really high to eat at. I mean, Cheech and Chong high. Dude, Where’s My Car? high. Let’s make another Hangover high. Do you get the point? We’re talking Phish concert high, folks.
I just really do not care for fast food that much. But like any red blooded American who likes clogging their arteries with shit farmers wouldn’t feed to their livestock, I get cravings for food I will hate myself for eating later. Enter Chipotle, you magnificent burrito having bastards. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?
Every staff member at this location appears to be one rude customer away from going Columbine on the entire restaurant. There is no joy in Whoville. None. You will not see one of the line servers dishing your black beans with vigor. There will be no smiles for you. And fuck you for even thinking you might get a «thank you, have a nice day.»…because you won’t. You’re lucky no one pissed in the sour cream today. Now take your lukewarm, handcrafted chicken burrito and eat it silently at one of the dirty tables, you egotistical son a bitch. DO IT NOW.
My boyfriend likes the steak burrito with guac, green salsa, and black beans. I prefer to avoid all things meat related at Chipotle because I don’t think gristle and fat actually count as part of the food pyramid. But again, he is the least picky person I have ever met, he’d probably eat the piss flavored sour cream if there was a cold beer around to mask the flavor. He’s a good man, folks.
I do enjoy their veggie burrito with extra guac and black beans. So there’s the additional star. Perhaps I’m feeling generous or maybe I’m still high. Who knows? I really hate you, Chipotle. So hard.

If I am too lazy to make Mexican food, I would come here cause I know the service would be a lot faster. Yes, it is true that they are quick! I usually get their chicken tacos and put a load of crap in it. The staffs here are friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed their sitting area too. It is spacious like other Chipotle places. So far my experiences here has been ok. Free parking lot.
