I love going to this place. I always get donuts for my workplace. Co-workers love their donuts and I love their coffee as well. Always freshly brewed. I highly recommend this place.

Café Donuts is the best place to get cake donuts in the cities, let alone downtown Minneapolis. They are always friendly and always delicious. Awesome late specials with half off a dozen donuts. It’s the closest thing we have in Minneapolis to that Dunkin place.

Any displaced East Coasters or Southerners wanting their Dunkin’ Donut fix will find a similar product here. Nothing gourmet, but rock-solid classic donuts. I especially love the chocolate and vanilla cream filled ones. Great location and nice service too. And the price cannot be beat,

I wouldn’t recommend for meetings and events! They were horrible to deal with. They offered delivery and they were late and then got very rude with me.

Yum yum! I have been wanting to try these donuts for awhile. I live a hop and skip away so why not? I figured while everyone else is trying to keep to their new year’s resolution to eat better, I should reap the benefits of shorter lines and indulge on my love for donuts. The girls at the counter were very nice and friendly and the donuts were so fresh and warm! A half dozen was easy on the wallet too. Instead of spending $ 15 at Bogart’s(I love you Bogart’s, but sometimes I can’t afford you), I spent a little over $ 5 on the same amount of donuts that were just as delicious.

This is one of my favorite places. The coffee is very good and inexpensive. A «small» here is a medium everywhere else. Add a donut and you still have spent less than what you would pay for a small foo foo drink at Staribou. They have a decent variety of classic style donuts. Café Donut is a great place for a quick pick-me-up or start to the day.

Café Donuts & Cool Cups Yogurt will not disappoint you. Whether you’re looking for that quirky flavor you’ve never heard of or you just want one of the classics, this is the place to be. The workers are very welcoming and will let you sample all of there flavor a. I would know, I practically tried every flavor before I settled on a scoop of Turkish coffee and vanilla bean.

Want Delicious donughts… come here! Finding regular donughts with sprinkles, apple fritters and donught holes that are not easy to come by downtown you will not find any Cronuts here and im okay with that. The red velet donut is also delish

Eh, they’re nothing special but they’re not bad. The butternut was decent nutty flavor. The jelly was filled with an artificial tasting gel. You could not call that jelly. The five star standing this has now may be solely for the coffee

I first had their donuts at the TC Donut Crawl and I was impressed. Red velvet was amazing, and so was the bavarian cream. I’ve gotten the froyo here and it’s a little too sweet and sugary for me. There’s always at least one machine not working. They have a lot of donuts and I went with the hostess cupcake one that was filled with vanilla crème. Amazing. Cheap too. A dollar instead of 2 or 3 like at some places, but they had a nice selection. Service was ultra casual.

I went in to check out donuts. I’m not a fan of donuts, they do not agree with me. But I thought this would be the place to check them out to see if I was going to change my mind. I liked the ones I tried — for the icing flavors — although they were way too sweet for my taste. The donuts tasted the same as when I’d tried them over 10 years ago. However, I am going to go back for coffee. Espresso to be exact. They only do double shots and use intelligentsia coffee. I don’t recall having tried this coffee before so I can’t say if it’s the beans or the machine or the barista. Doesn’t matter — I’m thrilled to have a place to go for perfect espresso.

If you are looking for a place that specializes in donuts made fresh locally and served quickly with a smile this is the only place in the Minneapolis Skyway system, the only place close to light rail(an important criteria for me) and the only place that competes directly with a Dunkin’ Donuts cultivated palate. My litmus test for any donut place is the chocolate frosted yeast risen donut and Cafè Donuts gets an A in that category. Order your donuts with a cup of coffee and sit down inside the store or at one of the many tables scattered around the food court of the Canadian Pacific Plaza building. If you have brought an appetite get one of their breakfast sandwiches, which are served all day(until gone): bagel or croissant with bacon/sausage, cheese, egg, however you want it … You can get to Cafè Donuts from either the Metro Transit Government Plaza or Nicollet Mall Stations and enter the skyway system through the Hennepin County building, the US Bank Plaza building, the Conadian Pacific Plaza building or the 5th Street Towers building. Work your way to the Canadian Pacific Plaza Skyway food court. The only real problem you’ll have is making sure you get there early enough to ensure that _your_favorite donut is there. You will usually find your favorite donut on the shelf before lunch. After lunch you are taking chances, but it’s not like there aren’t tasty alternatives to settle for. It receives my approval as a light rail accessible doughnut shop … The Bard of Franklin Avenue …

Fast and friendly with a ton of options for doughnuts. They also do breakfast sandwiches(under $ 3!) and coffee. Come by later in the day for yoghurt with flavours like pumpkin pie and French toast. I got a chocolate-glazed Longjohn, an apple spice(like an apple cider cake doughnut), and a sour crème. All were fresh and delicious and at just $ 0.99 a piece(or $ 5.50 for half a dozen), you can try many of the options without having to worry about breaking the bank. While the delicious Wuolett’s is in the skyway building next door, this one is definitely more reasonable with more options — plus the ever allusive downtown location of a Starbucks is right next door(a preference for me over the ever common Caribou).

Everything you want in a donut is here. Plain, simple, fresh and delicious. Reminds me a lot of Dunkin’ Donuts. Starbucks coffee is right next-door too. Quick service fast and clean. Priced at just $.99 a doughnut. You won’t find any $ 10 fancy donuts here. I’d highly recommend it if you’d like a nice fresh doughnut with coffee in the morning.

I had heard about this place from some friends who also work in the downtown area and who had wandered over to check it out awhile back. I happened to go past it this morning and decided to give it a try. If you’re not a picky person and think that bakery items from Supermom’s, Cub or Holiday are good, you’ll fit right in over here as the quality is the same. There’s got to be at least two dozen doughnut choices, if not more. Muffins and bagels can also be had here. They have two persons assisting customers at the front counter and the short line I was in moved along quickly. Happily, my office building is not that close, so this isn’t going to be much of a temptation. There’s a Wuollet’s location in US Bank Plaza, but their selection nowhere matches this place and their price for one doughnut is $ 1.65 vs. $.99 at Café Donuts.

Café Donuts has some of the best donuts in the Twin Cities area! My personal favorite are the red velvet, and the seasonal pumpkin donuts, and there are plenty more to enjoy.

Why there aren’t more places in the Skyway to get donuts is beyond me. Sometimes I tire of scones, muffins, and croissants, and Café Donuts is a great place to indulge my need for a sweetened fried piece of dough.
