Brooklyn Center Community Center Pool & Waterslide

I enjoy being able to just drop in and pay for a single workout, all while I keep my Youngs busy in the pool.

So great! Warm water, toddler wading pool, fun slide — it was a hit on this cold Sunday. Lifeguards were really nice. Though the facilities are a little dated, it is exactly what it needs to be.
Bring a quarter with you for the lockers!

Yeah well i’m going to date myself again. I’ve been going here on and off for the last 40 years or so. I’m not a big gym goer, but I’m a big walker and love to swim also. because i not a fan of winter I seek shelter for my walking, so I have been going to the BCCC. So you ask what so great about this place? Let me tell you, here goes. if you like to swim they have an olympic size pool with a waterslide for the little shits, also they have a small side pool for the really little shits, aka babies. There is a decent sized work out room with your standard cardio and weight machines. BCCC offers which i really like is they offer a pay as you go deal, so i don’t need to deal with monthly membership dues, since i only go in the winter time. The best kept secret about this place is that its never all that busy and not a seen like some clubs I’ve been to. Overall the place is well kept and clean.
I leave you with this BEWARE, there are people at the BCCC that do not wipe down machines, so if your a germ phob pre wipe.

My schedule is pretty busy these days which means paying for a gym membership just really isn’t worth it. Thanks to the BCC, I’m still swimming once a week for less than $ 20 a month. Shut up. And thank you.
They have open swim time with a water slide and a toddler pool, and I’d totally bring my family here.
Sometimes I hit the perfectly fine cardio area or the surprisingly large weight room. Co-​ed sauna near the pool. Locker rooms are basic, but nice.

We bring our son here for kid swim lessons. It’s nice. It’s a generally relaxed environment. Staff is nice and the swim instructor (I forget her name… Lonnie, she’s a cute Asian girl) she’s amazing and really good at what she do. This is our second class package with her. Our son is 17 months. :)
