Cox Communications

I called cox three weeks ago when I was shopping an Internet provider. During the call the rep asked me if I would agree to allow some of their «partners» contact me regarding other great promotions. I told him no. Then after he informed of the 150 $ startup fee and the fact that after one year the monthly fee doubled, I told him no thank and have a nice day. He then asked me a second time if I would agree to allow some of their other partners to contact me regarding other great promotions which I declined again. Since than call I have had several telemarketing calls. Calls wanting to lower my credit card debt and pay off my student loans. And most recently a Arab man from a Jamaica number keeps calling and telling me that he has a check for me. Coincidence? Maybe maybe not

I had Cox When I lived in Wichita KS and never once had any issues. The techs were always helpful and knowledgeable. Best ISP I’ve ever used.
