Oh my gosh, this place is awesome! The fish fry on Fridays is great! Hand battered fresh cod, not that pre-battered stuff! The waitress’s are very friendly. Will definitely be going back

Excellent food! The place was packed when we walked in, but we were seated quickly. The wait time for our meal was surprisingly quick and the wait staff is superb!

Wow! Don’t pass up this place. The burgers were excellent and the staff very friendly. I noticed they called many customers by name and asked if they wanted«the usual», so there must be lots of repeat business. The location is excellent as it is right off the ATV trail. My burger was huge and juicy and the prices were fair. The entire place is very clean… bathrooms included. Not your typical bar and grill. I will be back! Plus. lots of off street parking which most places around Mineral Point seem to lack. I was there on a weekday but I hear they have a fish fry which I might try the next time I am in town. Seems like a local favorite. My server’s name was Leonard.

I was spending the day on the road, I was heading to Darlington and had never spent much time in Mineral Point. I thought, why not check it out for a bite to eat? I drove around downtown. There was not a single place to park, so I head back down towards the river and see Tony’s. I get there and let the bartender know I’m going to sit outside. A couple minutes later waiter comes out and takes my order. I had simple cheeseburger and fries, the fries were good. The burger was standard. My soda from the fountain tasted watered down. If the food was better I’d maybe go back. I try and make a point of stopping at the small places when I’m traveling. Sorry Tony’s you just didn’t «wow» me. Also the service was so-so.

Asked the locals for the best fish fry in Mineral Point. No real consensus, which led us to believe that there is no great fish fry in the town. We already had lunch at the Brewery Creek so we wanted to try another place for dinner. We tried a local pub that had a dining area, Tony’s Tap. Super sweet wait staff! The cod fish fry was $ 7.50 for two pieces and came with choice of potato, slaw, and bread. Unfortunately the fish was over cooked and the pieces weren’t all that big, but didn’t matter as we couldn’t finish both pieces due to it being just not that good. The batter crust was chewy and tough. The baked potato was okay, the slaw wasn’t bad, maybe just a bit too much onion. The bread were these little pieces of some cold grocery store French bread that we both passed on. Ordered some cheese curds, and they were okay. The bill was $ 29, which meant the two drinks we ordered ended up being $ 5 each. Way too expensive for a small cocktail. Did I mention the waitresses were sweet though? I’d recommend going across the street to Brewery Creek.

The ONLY place that is open and serves food at 9:30pm in a Friday night. Very lively and filled with friendly people. Fish fry on Fridays, and Spotted Cow hits the spot.
