Rainbow Cabin Rentals

Just got home after a great week at Wildwater Retreat. This cabin is positively amazing — even better than pictured on the website. The cabin is located in a very private community, along Fightingtown Creek, and 5 minutes from McCaysville. You can spend all day in the creek… there is a deeper swimming hole and shallow rock areas. We used the included kayaks everyday.
My only word of advice for future renters is to arrive in an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle, as the road coming in is loose gravel. My rented 2015 Hyundai Tucson couldn’t get out easily because of the steep incline… I kept losing traction, spinning wheels and rolling down the hill. It was not a deal breaker for us… we rent cars for mountain trips, so next year we know to rent a different vehicle.
The company was awesome to deal with… a storm wiped out our satellite, and after a quick phone call we got it resolved. They even called back the next day to make sure it was still working.
Can’t wait to go back!
