Very friendly staff. Excellent Precor equipment. Good value for all that you get there.

While the club is nice, the staff is incompetent. I tried to cancel my membership after my year was up, and they kept taking fees and would not cancel it. I signed all the forms, and 8 months later, I found out they have been debiting my bank account and owe me over 800! Don’t trust them with your credit card info. They may mean well, but they don’t know how to let you go when you want to leave.

I really like it here– I can’t believe how there are only four reviews (three not so favorable) on Unilocal.We’ve been members for only a couple months, but we are loving it!
I signed up for a membership in July– had a great two days of working out– then I sadly broke my ankle and was out for 4 months. The staff were incredibly understanding and put my membership on hold– they said not to worry and did not charge me until I returned. I came back ready to workout in mid November, where my account was activated (later upgraded to a couple membership for my husband).
The facilities are spotless, all staff have been cordial and the gym (including the pool!) is never crowded. A few new treadmills have just been installed too (they were in desperate need of new equipment) not to mention the new group cardio classes added to the schedule.
This is not a corporation based factory gym like 24hrs or LA Fitness– and I like that about East Side. This gym has a more family and down to earth feel, making you feel welcome and comfortable!

Just to let you know to be careful. They lie about their contracts. I was told I would be able to get out if there were circumstances beyond our control. Well we move and it was too far. We had a year contract which we could not use. So that being said when we close it we were inform that we could only do that if it was more than 30 miles. We were not told this. So be careful.

The gym is ok, the hours are not. Barely got to use my membership due to work location and their hours, tried to cancel and they wouldn’t let me. So my memberdhip was up, after months of paying and not being able to go, and they still are charging me another month. Very frustrating

Small but very expensive gym. Just to swim there will be about $ 46.50 a month. So many guild-​lines of when I can swim due to swimming classes and in summer, it will be too busy for me to swim there (WHAT!!!). Their reps were nice but I can’t give more than 2 star rating.

Great gym, reasonably priced. It’s nice when they know you by name (without using the computer).
Only down side is they are not open 24 hours.
