I’ve been eating Wong’s Wok since puberty, so it’s obvious I like the food. It’s your run of the mill cheap Chinese fast food. What I can’t get down with, though, is how dirty this place is. It’s like the Health Dept has completely forgotten about this place. I feel like I’m going to get all-​consuming diarrhea every time I eat here. But I never do.

In terms of Chinese food, it’s about the middle of the chain. It’s not extremely good but it’s not awful either. They are Chinese food fast. They have a lot of their menu items made up in bulk so that they can scoop it on your plate when you order. If you have to wait, it’s no more than 5 minutes and it’s because you ordered something off the special menu.
I will say that the portion size vs the price is VERY good. I have no complaints there. I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth.

Sweet and sour chicken is our thing, and this was not the place to go for it. Taste was disappointing and quality was questionable. Service was slow.

the gravy and rice and Kowloon chicken keeps us coming back. We always get it to go. They recently changed the drive thru sign which is MUCH better and more appealing. :) Even when we go to Panda Express we still go through the wong wok drive thru for gravy and rice. =)

Consistently good food. When you want a generous plate of your favorites this is the place to go. Good price for a healthy portion. Look in the Journal Sentinal for coupons. If you need more than a plate you can order the traditional containers. A Milwaukee gem that should not be missed

If you’re short on time and just need Chinese food fix, this place does the trick. Their specialty, the Chinese fried chicken, is hard not to like, but overall, I think the food is dull. They regularly have coupons in the paper, so at least you can get some good deals.
