Wick’s Beer & Liquor

The place is near my house, so I go there often. They do have a great selection of craft beers. They’re wine selection is limited, so I would suggest going a few doors down to Wine Thief. Honestly, I can’t say the friendliest people work there, but to each their own.

Well, I work nearby (kitty corner) and went in for the first time today to get a beverage.
I walked in & the guy behind the counter just stared at me. I took my drink to the counter; he didn’t say anything, other than the price.
I went to hand him my card and he points to a sign that says $ 7 card minimum (which I think is ridiculous!), I only had $ 1 in cash so I was like, alright I’ll have to skip it then I guess. I go to put my drink back & didn’t realize there were separate entrance and exit doors since I’d never been before so I tried to leave out the entrance (embarrassing) and I turn around to see the guy, (staring again, and again not speaking), pointing to the exit.
How rude is that?!
It was my first time there, and it will also be my last. I’m not down to support a business with no customer service etiquette and a poor card usage policy!

Being next door to me — this place gets 4 stars for convenience!
They do have a nice selection of craft beers to pick from as well. It seems like they’re always bringing in different stuff.
The staff is generally really friendly and helpful to guide me in the right direction.
