Wholesale Mortgage Services of Wisconsin

I am currently in the process of buying my first home, and hadn’t done a ton of shopping around up front for mortgages. We felt we were getting a good rate, so nothing else really mattered. Right? Wrong!
We ended up feeling a little bit like we were being led on by the bank we were working with. I found Wholesale Mortgage Services of Wisconsin on Google, and it had great reviews! I gave them a call, and Doug Lenski (in the Oak Creek office) agreed to meet with me, on a Saturday!, for free.
Doug was super helpful and answered all my questions. He walked me through all the fees I was seeing and explained how the closing costs were determined, which was something I’d felt confused by at the bank. He helped me look into any other mortgage programs I might qualify for, and determined that I was already getting the best deal I could. He recommended that I should stick with what I had and not risk wasting more time or being turned down by a different bank.
He was even considerate of my credit score and did not run my credit just in case that would adversely affect my score. He did all of this at no profit to himself, other than another good review! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for advice or shopping for the best mortgage.
