The support staff here are awful. Every time I have called I have had a problem with simple requests about a prescription. The most recent time(s) I have called was for one issue but involved 6 calls. Several of those times I was on hold for 20 minutes or more. A couple of those times, someone answered, barely listened to my request and transferred me elsewhere. This resulted in two dead-end transfers, which is why I had to call back so many times. The main problem here is that they don’t LISTEN. I could tell they were just trying to get my call to someone else so they didn’t have to deal with it, when they probably could have helped me. One time I called and asked for a script to be filled to tide me over until my next appointment, which I had to book out a month or two. I left this message with a woman who assured me it would get passed along to my provider. When the script didn’t get filled, I called back again and the woman said the doctor would not fill it because I had to come in again. This caused me an inconvenience with my job but I made the appointment work. After filling out some paperwork handed to me by a disinterested staff member who wouldn’t make eye contact with me, I waited for about 20 minutes. When I got called back to the exam room, it was the nurse who had to inform me that this visit might not be covered by insurance because it hadn’t been a full year since my last visit. I explained to her that all along I just needed a refill to tide me over and that I had left a message. This message never got through to her despite the staff woman(lying) saying it had been conveyed. My nurse told me that she absolutely would have refilled it for me had she been informed(in fact, put a quick call in for a year’s supply right there while I was in the room) and assured me I wouldn’t be billed for this visit. I never did go back and I’m so glad I’m going to a different location now that my job has changed. It’s a shame because I loved the nurse practitioner I saw here and felt really comfortable with her.
