I normally don’t like to write reviews of places like Walgreens for the simple fact that it’s a large chain and every experience is unique to that moment in time. However, this Walgreens is right around the corner from my house and I go there all the time, mainly to have pictures developed or if I need to run in to grab something in a pinch. So I have had a lot of repeat experience with this location and its staff and customers. 1) If you decide to use their photo counter for anything… drop offs, pick ups, questions, passport photos, you name it, don’t expect service. I mean it. They never have anyone manning the photo counter and it falls upon the customer to track down an associate. And when I say never, I mean never. I don’t think they assign anyone specifically to run it. 2) The people are annoying. Both employees and customers. In the last year, I’ve been accused of leaving a note on another customer’s car telling them not to park in the handicap spot, I’ve witnessed employees swearing, yelling, commenting under their breath about others, and today I was lucky enough to witness 3 high school students throwing a fit when they were told by management to leave.(There is a sign on the door stating that students are not allowed in the store between 2−4pm.) The plus side? They have a Red Box. But nowadays, who doesn’t? I would avoid this location if possible, but its proximity to my house keeps me coming back. Sigh.
