This walgreens is pretty ghetto. I know they don’t have a lot of space, but everything thing is so squished together it’s like it’s stacked right on top of the next! The location is pretty convenient for the Marquette students, but this is not the Walgreens I usually frequent and I have only been here literally because I was driving and I remembered I needed something and it was close.

Horrible… horrible location. Incredibly poor customer service. The manager allows his super disrespectful, unqualified staff to just hang out behind the counter of the pharmacy. The whole time a friend of mine was waiting for a prescription the girls were joking louder about how they weren’t even supposed to be back there. I have to assume that them messing with people’s prescriptions is illegal. I’m pretty sure we’ll be contacting the BBB, I wouldn’t expect this place to stay under the same management for long.

Walgreen’s: a drug store that also markets itself as a convenience store. This location is a block from my abode, making it a close option for last-minute or forgotten sundries. It is one of several Walgreen’s stores close to the downtown area where you are able to interact with folks from all walks of life. The aisles are cramped, seemingly everything is overpriced, the cashiers are either super-chatty or just human enough to not be androids, and they LOVE to ask if you’d like to purchase the«item of the month»(usually a candy or chocolate of some sort). But I guess it is «my» Walgreen’s, even though I don’t utilize it for medicine/prescriptions, so I feel a particular affinity for this location and the people I see there on a regular basis. Loses points: for getting rid of the RedBox movie rental machine and the full-service photo counter.
