Thompson’s Serv-U Pharmacy

Sure, this may not be some fancy, upscale store. But that’s part of what’s so great about it. My doctor sent me here specifically, and I know why. They are very nice, and they DO AIM TO ‘Serv-​U’ — unlike Walgreens, for example, where you’re ‘just a number.’ The service is poor due to overworked and underpaid ‘tech’s,’ who really don’t care if they fill your Rx or not because they have 100 others behind you.
Sometimes, they do need to order your meds, but I’m sure if more people went here, they’d have more meds in stock.
In a world where corporate America has taken over, and Pharmacies along with Insurance Co’s ‘trump’ the doctors who wrote the prescriptions, why not support our local businesses like Thompson’s? I’m happy I started coming here — even though it’s ‘out of the way’ — because they have given me the best service hands-​down.
I want to go to a pharmacy where I know the Pharmacist (not being on a 20 Pharmacist ‘rotation’), and hope I can do this here. From my experience, I’m confident I can. Thanks Thompson’s!

This is an odd place…
However, I go to a pharmacy to get my prescription filled. This is what they do, and what they are good at.
Now if you are looking for a freshly cleaned, vacuumed little store, this ain’t it. Oh but you can still get your soda, a card, cheap cap guns for kids or some skin cream that Drew Barrymore swears by but really this is a local place run by family members that will meet your prescription needs and a jiffy.
