YESSSSSS! Me loves soup! Me loves it long time! But seriously, I find an art in making a good soup. You need a quality stock with fresh ingredients and the right amount of spices to really make it stand out. The Soup Market succeeds at this. Not only do they provide about 10 soup options a day, most days they have one, if not more, vegan option. Since I have discovered this Soup Market location located in the Milwaukee Center(its where the Rep and Kilawat are located) I have tried 3 vegan soups: The garden vegetable, black bean and quinoa, as well as a ratatouille. All have exceeded my expectations. If you get a cup size, crackers come with, and a bowl will get you a wedge of delicious bread. The bread is fresh and amazingly good, getting the bowl is worth it just for the bread alone. This location also has a variety of hot and cold sandwiches as well as salads. A hearty bowl of soup(with bread), a side salad, and a can of diet coke only runs me 10 dollars. Its quite a bargain as all the food is fresh and clearly made with high quality products. The staff is only 2 guys, from what I’ve seen, but they are lightening fast! Don’t be discouraged if there is a line because they will get you in and out in less than 5 minutes. I don’t know how they do it really! The store is only open weekdays from 7 to 3, so if you are downtown and looking for a satisfying lunch I highly recommend the Soup Market!
