Corissa and Michael rock. As a strict vegetarian and animal activist I would eat here every single day if I could.

Oh, this place. So adorable! Stopped in for a quick smoothie post hot yoga just next door and Beerline just about charmed my yoga pants right off my booty. A quaint little patio, a small but adorable interior, and most importantly, fresh, healthy eats made from scratch! I opted for the strawberry-banana-avocado smoothie and it was ON. POINT. One of the better smoothies I’ve had in awhile, that’s for sure! If you’re after a healthier breakfast or lunch, fresh ingredients, etc., check out Beerline! You def won’t be disappointed and I can’t wait to go back.

Beerline is mine and my boyfriend’s default eating spot when we don’t know what we are hungry for. We have never had a disappointing meal here, and continually find ourselves craving our go-to meals at Beerline. There is something on the menu for everyone, and is a great place if you are craving breakfast for dinner. If you like a BLT, I’d highly recommend trying the Blatz sandwich. It substitutes bacon for a smoky, flavorful tempeh that won’t leave you missing the bacon. My boyfriend orders the Basic Breakfast Sandwich and adds tempeh bacon and sautéed veggies. This is his mainstay and he continually comments on how top-notch their sourdough bread is. We are also huge fans of their pesto mac ‘n cheese, which combines fresh pesto with classic creamy Wisconsin cheese. The crepes look awesome, though we have yet to try them. Shoutout to Elise who has provided excellent service. Beerline is relatively new but will become a Milwaukee establishment if enough people get out to try it.

So disappointing. Such a great location(right near the river!) and the place is gorgeous-a wall of plants, long wooden tables, and lots of little plants. The menu is nice, too – everything is vegetarian, and some things are vegan and gluten free. That have lots of juice/smoothie options as well, but they were a bit pricey so we didn’t try them. I got the Mac and cheese, which tasted like boxed Kraft(and was so flavorless we had to douse it in salt and pepper) and my boyfriend got the café crêpe with brie. The crêpe was good, but the tomato sauce on the side tasted off. It’s hard to describe, really, but neither of us liked it. Honestly this place may be more of a 3 – 4 star place, but I’m so turned off by how awful the mac and cheese was that I can’t imagine going back.

Food, coffee, and juices are seriously good and seasonal. I’ve tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner and love almost everything on the menu. Waits are a little long, but I’m hopeful that it’s a kink that will get worked out. Also, non-issue, but during busy times, there’s not really a non-awkward place to stand to wait for a to-go order.

You have my brunch heart, Beerline Café! Quaint, dainty, and in the heart of condo city. Cute little patio– I’m surprised there isn’t a white picket fence! I had to look up and down the menu a few times. I wish it was categorized better. Mostly crepes and paninis. I settled on the Classic Breakfast Crêpe. I received my order 10 minutes later. Large portion. Appealing. Savory. I did have to add a boat load of Sriracha, but that is up to your discretion. I haven’t had many crepes, but it looked well done! I also ordered the Strawberry Banana Avocado smoothie. Not impressed. Total: $ 13 Tip: a whole lot of gluten, vegetarian, and vegan options; not a lot of hearty meat options!

Quite good! Service was awesome explaining the food to my dinner partner and I. The restaurant was completely empty at 6:30 pm. It was strange. Nonetheless, the food was good. The ingredients are often soy– or plant-based as this is a meat-free restaurant. I would like to come back here for their breakfast as that looked good.

Food was on point. Breakfast Panini done perfectly. Only reason for the 3 stars was the crazy wait for food. No line when we got in, not many people here when we arrived, but it took 45 minutes for us to get out food. Again, food was spot on, just a real pain to try to grab a quick lunch and have it take 45 minutes for an egg sandwich.

Amazing options – vegan, gluten free, other dietary restrictions. This is going to be high on the list for my favorite brunch places. I had a Spring Roll Crêpe and as weird as that sounds it was fantabulous. I can’t wait to try em all! They also had great fresh juices and a coffee bar. This place has it all!

I always enjoy trying out some new vegetarian/vegan spots for a quick sit down or to-go meal. We were craving a quick healthy meal and a patio the other day so we stopped by Beerline Café since we had not been there yet. The café crêpe seemed like a pretty easy decision and a standard crêpe item. It was loaded with tomatoes and surrounded by a well cooked crêpe. This was just not for me, I did not expect a half pound of tomatoes wrapped in a flavorless crêpe. It was very disappointing. My girlfriend ordered the same thing that was messed up on the first try. When they did bring it on the second try, the vegan cheese honestly tasted like a gallon can of processed cheese sauce from the 90s. Woof. We also tried to order the jalapeño cheese dip… They were out of chips? Chips! How? Messed up order, out of components to make food, crepes that had no flavor, unbalanced ingredients, and a name that absolutely makes no sense with what you will experience… I hope your experience is different.

One of my favorite places to eat!!! I’m a regular now, and I have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. My favorite is the ceprese cromelette and the pesto salad. The coffee is also delicious, they serve stone creek coffee. They also have delicious fresh juices and smoothies. Trust me you will not miss the meat!

I got the BLATZ panini for $ 6 and really loved it. I think they mixed a little bit of maple with the tempeh bacon and it was like a party in my mouth. My boyfriend, however, found it to be too sweet and distracting in his omelette. So maybe you’ll love it, maybe not. I also got the oatmeal blueberry maple smoothie. It was really good and not too sweet or overpowering. My only complaint is that I got my food within the time frame they gave me(30 min) but it took an hour for my partner to get his omelette. Other people got their food before him, so I’m not sure if they forgot about his order or something. But since this place is fairly new, I want to believe they’re still going through some growing pains. Overall, I would definitely come here again and I’m happy to have another vegan spot in the area.

Stopped by for lunch and liked the adventurous take on crepes! Spring roll crêpe with peanut sauce was a unique twist on a classic crêpe, surprisingly filling as well. Absolutley loved the large barn wood tables and fresh flowers, atmosphere was cozy for an afternoon lunch!

This is a great addition to Milwaukee. Great selection of sandwiches and salads, with some nice juice, smoothie, and tea options, as well. I particularly recommend the basic breakfast panini with sautéed vegetables… it’s delicious. I love how the restaurant feels both open and cozy at the same time. The food is prepared with care and served with a smile. I hope they add some more dessert options… a selection of cookies or brownies, for example, would be a great treat to round out lunch. Right now, I feel like that’s the one thing they’re missing.

First, we still like this place and decided to try out the 4 course Valentine’s Day dinner. Very disappointed in the service. Made a reservation and were seated right away, but our waitress didn’t show up at our table for over 20 min.(Note that I’ve had this same waitress at Café Manna and was not impressed with her there either). The food was fairly good, except for the Blackened Tofu Fettuccini Alfredo. There didn’t seem to be any kind of Alfredo flavor. The highlights were the carrot coconut soup and the chocolate parfait desert. I’m giving a 2 rating because the last time we had breakfast here, our order was messed up and dishes did not come out together. We will definitely try again, but 3 strikes …

Great new place just off Humboldt on Commerce(just a hop away from the 14 bus). Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free fare at affordable prices. Very tasty. The acorn crepes were a bit on the spicy hot side, but the berries one was just perfect. Nice, casual ambiance. You order at the bar and they bring the food over. Recommended.

Beerline is pretty solid. They have tasty gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options — my favorite thing to order is the spring roll crêpe, which comes smothered in a delicious peanut sauce! So good! Plus, their mimosas and beermosas are on point — best beermosas I’ve ever had, to be honest. I’ve been there several times, and I’ve usually really enjoyed my food. It’s so nice to have an affordable place to go for tasty gluten-free food(legit stomach issues over here, folks). Plus, the staff is very friendly, and we always have a good experience whenever we stop in after yoga.

Gluten free crepes, need I say more? The menu is small but there is enough variety to merit multiple visits. There are several«breakfast» crepes featuring eggs, along with a caprese(basil, tomatoes & mozzarella) and a Thai– inspired«spring roll» crêpe with sambal peanut sauce. I had the egg & cheese gluten free crêpe, which was plain but tasty. It could have used something more robust than the thin tomato coulis that was barely visible to give it some character. The salad I tried was much more flavorful and satisfying. It was quite large, easily big enough for two to share if also trying a crêpe. The delightful combo of roasted curried cauliflower and sweet potato over greens was tossed in a delicious creamy turmeric garlic dressing and topped with plump raisins. Open from 6:30 am to 10 pm, this is a great casual spot close to downtown and the East side. I’ll definitely be back!

I love the location and the look of this place. Staff have been friendly, especially Katie, and I plan on coming here regularly. It’s so great to have an all-vegetarian, healthy place with great hours — I think 6am to 10pm. So great! They are really great about being flexible with dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. This goes for their drinks(milk selection), crepes, and sandwiches, etc. On one of my visits they had a mushroom soup that was a real standout. I also really liked the cucumber salad — simple but delicious. I liked the pb&j panini, too but I’m not a fan of the veggie bacon. It’s okay, there are plenty of other things to try. I liked their crepes but they could use some flavor punch-ups somehow. There are menus at the end of the counter and you order there. They’ll bring everything out to you, except silverware, napkins, and s&p are around the corner for you to take what you need. Don’t forget to bus your table and I love how everything is sectioned off(landfill, recyclable, compostable food waste)!!

Come here on a Wed night. The place fairly empty. Ordering is at the counter. EVERYTHING is vegetarian and MOST can be done vegan. The satain was fantastic. The roasted potatoes were delicious. The Beerline Vegan Mac n Cheese was amazing. It was like smokey gouda taste. I think my fav part was the soy iced chai. Which was some of the best chai i have had in Milwaukee. I LOVE this place and will make it a regular in my places to eat.
