They are not good at all! Don’t waste your money on it. It is not authentic. They use dry noodles on their ladna and pad Si eww. Top it off that’s was two pieces of white short hair in my food. Noodles and company had better pad Thai then this horrible place. I never complain anywhere on Unilocal this is my first time bc I was so disappointed.

Do take out only. A hole in the wall. But great food. If I’m feeling lazy or going bat shit crazy from kids, my husband swings by this place and everything is right with the world again. The curry and rolls we love. Totally shifty neighborhood where u might have to pack.

Great for lunch! They have a diverse menu and the prices are very reasonable! The spiciest scale can get very hot quick. I love spicy food and the 3 pepper option is very hot! The seafood is always fresh tasting and the Thai iced tea is very good. We have Thai Day Friday sometimes at the office and everyone in the office loves the food. The interior is clean and staff is friendly.

Trust the Unilocalers. This place offers great tasting food. Service was good but the one fault was that one of our entrees was about 10 mins behind the others. I like hot spicy food so I got the«hot» and it was right on. Duck was very good but a little over cooked(may be why it was late coming out). Pai thai was scrumptious, a good as nyc restaurants. All in all, will be back again.

A Thai food gem in the middle of a crappy strip mall on the north side of Milwaukee. This place isn’t in a neighborhood I’d say you really want to be in or in an area you want to be seen in(the neighbor here is an adult bookstore). The ambiance inside is also nothing special, plane tables and chairs and nothing much to see. The food though is delicious. The Panang Cury, Bangkok Chicken, Pad Thai, Spring Rolls all are soo good here. The prices are SERIOUSLYLOW! Given the food, pricing, & location lunch here is the busy time. If you don’t get here before about 11:35 you’re going to be standing around waiting for a table as they don’t have much seating. Dinner doesn’t see much dine in as most of the food when I’ve been here late seems to be of the To Go variety. Again large portions as is so common with Thai restaurants. Service is sometimes slow as there’s often only one person working the front of the restaurant. Highly recommend stopping in for some Pad Thai if you’re in the area.

I work near Thai Bangkok, and it has quickly become a favorite lunch stop. Pros: The food is delicious. I’ve tried and enjoyed many dishes, including the Green Curry, the Pa Nang, a crispy catfish dish, the Hmong sausages, the yellow curry noodles, etc. But I gravitate to the dishes that are loaded with veggies; two of my personal favorites are: #22 with #23 sauce. #22 is their veggie-loaded red curry dish, but I always ask for it with the #23 sauce, which is a peanut-and-red-curry sauce. So much yum! #37, the Pad Goe See Mee. It’s a skinny noodle dish with lots of veggies and a brown sauce. Really great mouth feel on these noodles, I love eating this. #34, Drunken Noodle, is similar but has big fat wide noodles — also a delight. And if you aren’t familiar with Thai Iced Tea yet… you might want to be. It’s bright orange, and bold tasting, and mixed with a generous amount of sweet cream. Cons: The ambiance and neighborhood are a little sketchy, and the place is very small with limited seating(maybe 9 tables?). If that’s a concern for you, call in your order for pick up and take it home with you. Tips: 1) I order it Medium, which is actually fairly hot(which I like). But if you order it «Mild» they will not add any chili paste at all; it’s zero spice. So if you like Mild spice, order it as «Mild-Plus,» — that worked for a friend of mine. 2) If you are watching carbs, you can ask for any of their«served with rice» dishes to be served over a bed of fresh, shredded cabbage instead(something on the menu comes this way, which is what inspired me to ask one day) 3) It is a small operation; they get busy and sometimes you might wait awhile for your food, or a water refill or whatever. But they are so very nice — if you need something, just flag them down and ask for it.

The place itself is really divey but the food and service were good. I had the crab cream cheese wontons and there was little crab taste in them, but they were still good. I loved the sauce that came with them it was a yellow sour sauce with cracked pepper and it was amazing. I’ve never had that sauce before! The phở was tasty and authentic and came with all the fixings. I also has their noodle/rice stirfry which I really enjoyed. It is definitely authentic thai! The waitress and cook were extremely friendly and even came out to talk with us too so that was great. If we’re ever back in the area we’d be back!

May not be in the best of areas, so idk if I would recommend staying, especially since there is only 6 – 7 tables inside. But the food is pretty good overall. Decided to get dinner from here. I ordered a soup with mushrooms & shrimp(it was alright). My main course was an egg noodle dish with shrimp, scallions and carrots mainly. It was rather tasty. Overall the food was good and I’ll probably be back, seeing as how I had been looking for a thai place nearby, and this is pretty much all there is.

It was a cold, snowy, windy day, and this seemed like the perfect place to warm up. I arrived around 1:30, and was the only person here. I was promptly seated, and after going with the chef’s recommendation, I ordered one of the Hmong catfish dishes. I started off with a cup of the soup, which was delicious. I then received the catfish dish, and found it a bit too salty for my taste, but that may be a personal thing. I’ll be back to try more dishes.

I ordered fresh rolls and green curry. The quality if the chicken left me wonder if I was actually eating chicken at all. The egg plant in the green curry was so over cooked I couldn’t stomach it. It was more like a blob of snot than firm egg plant. I was overwhelmed with frozen peas, something I’ve only ever had in moderation in any green curry previously. Overall, I’ve never been so dissapointed. I felt like the description on the menu and what I actually got didn’t match up. Items were missing entirely.

Great food! That’s for sure. All of the reviews are accurate about the quality of the food. You’ll receive a free sweet and sour soup if you come for lunch and a free side(can’t remember which) if you come for dinner. The menu is expansive with tons of options. My complaints deal with the ambience. It’s an awkward atmosphere. Very small indoors without much seating. I think the restaurant used to be a Mexican restaurant because there are remnants of the old menu on the kitchen area. Really they should gut the inside and renovated. The service wasn’t very good either. The waitress was not pleasant and didn’t seem to want to be there. Lastly, there’s an $ 11 minimum for credit cards, which is annoying. But my bill came out around $ 10.95, so I just had her round it up.

I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that my order was the problem, not the food overall. I got som tam, or green papaya salad; having recently spent over a month in Thailand, I am very familiar with this dish. The spice choices were mild, medium, spicy and some kind of killer spicy: I ordered medium. This thing was VERY spicy. During my 5 weeks in Thailand, I didn’t have anything as spicy as this dish; I couldn’t eat more than a few bites.(Also of note, the shrimp taste in the salad was very strong, though I didn’t actually see any shrimp in it.) My friend’s tom yum soup was delicious — and actually, not very shrimp-tasting. He said he also enjoyed his pad thai. The service was prompt(around 5 pm on a weeknight), and neither the décor nor the area bothered me. If I return, I will definitely be ordering my dishes mild — and will likely avoid the som tam.

This place is a hidden gem! Excellent food in spite of the façade. The staff was super friendly, too. Check out the menu that was uploaded here at Unilocal. At the time, it was the only digital copy I could find. Also, they are night messing around on spice level. I can usually handle myself pretty well and enjoyed level two but level three had me drinking a glass of milk.

You will stop here, and wonder… Where am I? It has such a weird vibe inside, not a restaurant, not a diner, like a hospital waiting room. WITHTHATSAID, the food is delicious. And pretty quick, it is near my work, so I probably wouldn’t venture he when I am headed out on the town or whatever, but for lunch, absolutely. Green chicken curry, has eggplant, peas, a lot of good stuff

Don’t let the appearances on the outside fool you, this place has very good food at a great price. Get there early for weekday lunch time since it gets very busy. As far as Thai food in Milwaukee goes I don’t think there are many good options but I really do like the food here and a cheap price never hurts. My favorite thing about this place is that they bring the heat in their food, it is spicy and that’s how I like it so keep that in mind when your order on their spicy scale, they bring it hotter than most.

After reading the rave reviews, I knew I had to check this place out(my husband and I live nearby but we were always scared to try this place with its sketch neighborhood). But being the foodies that we are, who cares when the food is SO amazing?! We got the mild«Gang Kiew Wahn»(green curry) with chicken and the hot«3 Company»(stir-fry with chicken, pork, and beef) upon the waitress’s recommendation. WHOO-WHEEE! We were NOT disappointed! The sauce in 3 company reminded us of a super tasty meat sauce at a top notch Chinese restaurant in Minneapolis. We even packed the sauce home to go on top of our rice(given that we ate everything else). Both dishes complimented each other so well. We went around 3:00ish so our service was great, and the food was very fresh, all the veggies in crunchy perfection. The prices were a little higher than expected but for the portions, I would say it was reasonable. We will definitely be coming back! Oh, and they had Hmong food too which was comforting to know. :)

Had #30, per the server’s request. Delicious and a great kick of spice. I added shrimp and am very happy with the basil in this dish. This place is low frills, but the food I got was very good.

With one of the worst curb appeal, located in a bad neighborhood, one would not even set step in here. As an adventurous food lover :) i had to go and check their food. For the last couple of years this has been one of our fav thai places. From their awesome pad thai’s the the delicious curry dishes to their fabulous fried rice. My favorites — Pork curry noodles — fried fish with lemon grass.(.yum) — beef green curry — pork fried rice(yum) Friday’s are super busy so don’t expect to get seating at this place as it only has 4 booths and maybe 2 side tables… It’s a family run business and good service. Generous portions and ideal for carry out for those days when you crave for some spice and authentic food.

Being close to work, I used to go here every Tuesday for their Phở, which is great BTW yet does take a bit longer than other places so make sure you get in early so they can get your order in. The seating is very limited with 4 or 5 booths and 2 tables so if you get there right during the lunch rush there is a chance you will have to wait for a little bit. The strip mall it is in isn’t the best and when you walk in you will notice it used to be a different restaurant and didn’t change some signage or the layout. The service is a bit slow at times yet all of the items they make are great. The most recent time going here I got the #4 and the Green Curry #20 both of them Hot(scale goes from Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, and Fire). The Hot was plenty spicy, and I love spicy food so be careful there. The Green Curry was one of the best that I have had and the garlic dish is something I have never seen before. Oh yeah, they have this amazing sauce for the Fresh Rolls/Spring Rolls that I haven’t had before. Usually they come with a thick peanut sauce yet this was a thinner sauce that was really good. Definitely give this place a try for lunch or carry out.

Ok, I’m ready to upgrade them to 4 stars. Had lunch with a friend. She ordered the wings, and they were crispy and delicious. I ordered special #48 which is fried rice mixed with rice noodles and I added beef. The beef was tender with a tasty marinade. Same was true of the noodles. I always struggle between a rice dish or a noodle dish. It was a relief to find a dish that featured both.
