Tadpoles, Pollywogs and Froglets Daycare

Before this last school year (I am a teacher), we started looking for an affordable, yet quality daycare that would work with our schedule and was nearby. We decided we would look for an in-​home daycare (not a center), but we were not willing to sacrifice quality at all. We looked. and looks some more… and then we found the perfect spot: Tadpoles, Pollywogs and Froglets Daycare!
Froglets Daycare is run by a woman named Erin, who clearly loves what she does and is passionate about helping kids to learn through play. She has a wide assortment of toys, TONS of books (she even has a Little Free Library in her front yard), an amazing garden taking up her entire front yard (which she has the kids help with sometimes) and a fun outdoor space for kids to run around, play in the sandbox, one of those Fischer Price cars, and water play stations in the backyard. The kids have done such creative projects and activities such as caring for caterpillars until they freed them as butterflies, art and painting projects, making cardboard box forts, etc.
Meanwhile, Erin has supported V with literacy skills and basic number identification during the year and helped us as we potty trained her. As the cherry on top, she serves healthy, homemade meals at no additional cost.
Because Erin only started up her business last summer, she still has space remaining for new kids for both the summer and the fall. Though she is located in Milwaukee, she is extremely convenient to eastern Wauwatosa (where we live) and is just off of State Street, just a block outside the entrance to Miller Valley. I cannot recommend her enough. If you’re in eastern Tosa or western Milwaukee and are looking for childcare, you should give Erin a call and set up a time to check it out, or at the very least, visit her blog (link posted on this page) that has all the basics about her and her daycare!
