We went there on St Paddy’s day pub crawl and it was pretty good! Drinks were reasonable and the DJ was pretty cool! I won’t give a 5 star just because the bathrooms were super tiny and kind of dirty! Also, it was crowded in there… but that was expected on that day!

It was really cold, and we needed a place to stop, get out of the cold, and have a drink. I like the color-​changing light strips. We didn’t stay long, as it’s not really our scene. Huge dance floor, though, if yer into dancing. We went to the old-​school blues bar up the street.

Great staff and good crowd. People come here to party, dance and have a great time which is sometimes rare in Milwaukee. Lighting is ahead of the game for local lounges and clubs.

We got here around 9:30 p.m., and it was mostly empty– just a few people sitting around the bar area. It didn’t start getting busy until around 11 p.m. Although it has «lounge» in its name, and plays really loud music, it is not the kind of music you could really dance to (and, indeed, no one was), and Walker’s Point isn’t really the area most people think of when they want to head out to clubs, anyway. The surrounding neighborhood is desolate and kind of scary, and nearby well-​lit parking is hard to come by. The service was good, but the specialty drinks left a bit to be desired. This would be a good place for people who live in the neighborhood, but it is not a place I could see many seeking out.

**review for a place I’m probably too old to go to but went anyhow**
This place served our needs when…
–black sheep was closed
–the tiki bar had this loud metal band playing in it
–I had no interest in going to the wicked hop
They had some specialty drinks but think I’d stick to mixers or beer.
There’s some outdoor seating, inside it was sort of exactly how I imagined it to be… The music was sort of overly loud & techno-​y — I’m torn between 3 & 4 stars but am feeling generous so we’ll bump up to 4.

Myself and approximately 10 other people walked to rumor because they had advertised having a state fair shuttle. They were closed, but Leah let us inside while she was training a new staff member. She literally opened up the bar for us and called the shuttle driver to have him come back all the way from Grafton to pick us up. The bar wasn’t even supposed to be open until 8pm! Unexpected and customer service that is unheard of! I will have to go back to Rumor when it is actually open to give a full review. Thanks Leah! (hope that was your name?)

The service needs some serious improvement here, or at least do away with this one bartender… I came here on a wednesday night. They have a really nice looking menu of specialty drinks which I expressed interest in, but the bartender said to me, «please don’t make me make one of those». Then he proceeded to refuse to chill my tequila shot. In what parallel universe is this ok? Highly doubtful I want to ever come back here thanks to this experience.

This is a great gem in Milwaukee! The service was excellent – I had a server come up and take my drink order before I even got to the bar!
The open layout keeps the bar from feeling too crowded, but there are ample lounge areas and outdoor seating if you don’t want to stand. The décor was modern without being cliché. I’ll definitely be back!
