This is by in far the most memorable strip club I have ever been in… but probably not for the right reasons.
full disclosure: Its been about 8 years since my last visit, but I doubt anything has changed about the place.
The neighborhood this place is truly terrifying. You do not want to drive your car here, taxi!
The place is small but there is a giant wrap around bar up front in a style you will only find in Milwaukee, and a small stage in back.
I have never visited this place with more than 15 dollars in my pocket and that has been more than enough. The cover charge was something like 3.50 (really? change? at a strip club?). High Lifes were 2 and a quarter at the bar.
The girls that work the place are a little on the ghetto side but not bad.
Let me walk through the final hour of my final visit to this place. The girl finishes up her set and comes over and sits at our table to chat (this is normal and she’s quite friendly). Conversation drifts to her going home with some dude from the club last night and her stealing his playstation and some other stuff (funny how she would want to discuss this). Now as interesting as it was to listen to this story, there is a scene developing in the entrance way to the club. Some dude is arguing with the bouncer and he has a 4×4 with a rail road spike sticking out of it over his shoulder. He doesn’t understand why he can’t come in. Something about he found this 4×4 and he really likes it and won’t leave it outside because someone will steal it (in that neighborhood, ya thats a certainty). And this argument goes on for a while getting more and more heated. Finally the bouncer and the dude worked out an agreement. He could come in IF he left his weapon in the front of the club. The dude begrudgingly accepted.
very memorable experience, would visit again.
