I took my 2000 Ford Taurus into Soerens Ford in Brookfield for routine maintenance. They did an oil change, and then came to me with a $ 1400 estimate for a leaking coolant hose and something with the brakes. I had already dumped 1300 into this 1000 dollar car last month… I wasn’t ready to do it again. So I took it into Paul.
He couldn’t find ANYTHING wrong with the brakes, and he quoted me 300 for the coolant hose and a new battery. I am so glad I took my car to an indie mechanic. Paul was professional, but also very down-​to-​earth, honest and friendly. I will be taking my cars to this mechanic from now on.
