OG’s is classic drunk cuisine… generous portions at a fairly reasonable cost and open late. Their gyros are good but the fries have been soggy pretty consistently. I’ve had the chicken shawarma before and I wouldn’t recommend it, it doesn’t have much flavor. The food tastes great if you are hammered and it’s a great place to go late at night with other drunkies.

Greek is the best cuisine, and this is the best Greek place in Milwaukee. It was hard for me to believe it, so close to the airport and so convenient after a long flight, but this place is excellent. With that said, it is configured like a fast food restaurant. The gyros are as good as can be found in Milwaukee. There are lots of other interesting menu items, like fried eggplant, Música, and conventional food like chicken and burgers. The french fries are excellent, and as any good gyros eater knows, that is an important part of a proper gyro sandwich. The portion size is wonderfully large. Plan on leftovers! My number one recommendation is the gyro platter. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic.

I left Milwaukee 5 years ago. I’ve lived or traveled to many places around the US in these past 5 years. Even being currently in San Francisco, this is still my favorite restaurant and a required stop every time I visit Milwaukee.

Good spinach pie, gyros (very generous on the souvlaki, so order an extra pita and split one), open late, accurate service on call in for pick up, relatively short wait when you come and eat here. The regular crowd are UWM college students, so if you’re a college professor this might not be a good place to get away from work, but this being the baseline clientele, I think it keeps the prices down. Parking might be a bit challenging at certain hours given the location, I’ve usually come here on my bicycle. Good location if you do have business on campus, it’s especially good after some on campus cultural event. It’s also right near a couple of friendly bars, and they serve the kind of food you want after visiting a friendly bar.

This is a classic favorite for east siders and past east siders. It’s unusual for my son to be going to the same place I went to in college, but he seems to be enjoying it as much as I do — they only difference is that now the kids call it simply «O.G’s». While I’m a fan of the gyros plate with rice and gravy (no low calorie choice here), my wife chooses the chicken shish kabob and we both love this place. They’ve recently opened up another site with the same name. I call that a win.

Hands down best gyro’s in Wisconsin! I have been going there since I was a little kid (20 plus years now). The food has always maintained its quality over the years and has always maintained the LARGE amounts of meat you get. I do hate the now day prices, but its worth it when ONE dinner gives you enough for two possible sandwiches or one extremely large one.
The owner of the store is there most days and is the nicest man EVER! He remembers our family from years of patronage and ALWAYS slips my son an ice cream cone!
Tip: Order an extra pita and extra cucumber sauce!

LOVE this place. Pretty much come for dinner with the intention of having enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Portions are huge and always find myself being impressed with how much meat they give away. The unlimited tzatziki sauce is also a big plus bc I love that stuff. Go-​tos are the gyro and chicken kebab platters. Greek salads are delicious and they put huge chunks of feta in them.
Lines can get long but they always move quickly. Staff is friendly and are good about turning over tables quickly and cleanly.

I give this place 3.5 stars. I loved it for a quick Greek place. The gyros platter I had failed to get more stars for 1) overly drenching my side Greek salad in dressing and 2) only providing me with one pita while you gave me enough meat for five.

I haven’t been here in years and decided to stop in for a late night bite. I ordered the original gryo combo (fries and a drink) and I have to say its one of the best gyros I’ve ever had. Open late, cheap, friendly with plenty of drunk kids for entertainment. Easy street parking and be sure to bring cash after 12am as they stop taking cards. So old school and so delicious !

Cheap and amazing Greek-​American food!!! My goodness my mouth is watering just thinking of this place makes me want to come here again and again and again! Seriously, it’s addicting!
When in the area, you guys must try this place out! Try their gyro platter! The staff is also very very friendly, and the place is quite popular with the locals too! If you get a chance, you might even see the owner, who reminds you of a character out of the Goodfellas lol!

I have never eaten in here, I’ve always gotten food to go after being somewhere in the area. After a show at the Miramar across the street, this place is hopping, so that has got to tell you something!
I usually enjoy a gyro or the gyro platter (shared with my husband, because both are huge), but I have had the mousaka too. I haven’t tried every item on the menu, but the few that I have tried have been delicious.
I wish there was a location nearer my house, they’d really shake up the food offerings on 76th street!
