Depending on which sign you read, this place is either called«Nablus Sweets», «Cousins Sweets» or «Nablus Restaurant». The name doesn’t matter, you’ll still get an authentic, tasty meal for a good price. Today I had the falafel sandwich. Most places make these with a pita, but Nablus uses a tortilla like flatbread to make a wrap. Inside are crunchy veggies, a bit of pickle and delicious, fluffy falafels. It’s a big sandwich and comes with fries for $ 5. The chicken schwarma is also fabulous in a wrap — they add pickles, onions and tahini to make a combination that looks odd but is tasty indeed. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re in a big hurry. Everything appears to be made from scratch when ordered and they do work at a «leisurely» pace. Be prepared to just point to things on the menu depending on who is working and their command of English.
