Stopped in to Mr Vak last week. I didn’t expect to walk into a more friendly place of business. The owner at the counter had such a warm smile as he said hello and asked if he could help me. I explained to him that I needed a vacuum for both hard wood floors and carpet. He took me on a tour for about ½ hour explaining the cons and pros of almost every model. He knew what he was talking about and said he has been in the business for over 30 years. I bought a Panasonic upright. I am very happy about it. I will recommend to all my friends and family.

Called on a Saturday morning at 11:00 to see if Mr. Vac could fix or replace my Dyson brush clutch and to my great surprise, they said they could have it fixed in about 90 minutes, no extra charge for a same day«rush» job. They called back in 65 minutes stating it was repaired! Amazing! On a holiday weekend! Reasonable prices, very friendly and prompt. I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone.

We have a 15 – 20 year old Sharp brand vac. The release pedal broke. No one in town would look at it, as Sharp is out of business in the US and no longer makes parts. Mr. Vak used to sell the brand and has parts. So, for $ 30 the vac is fixed. To replace our higher end vac, we would’ve had to spend $ 300+. I’m happy with the service. Thank you.

DONOTUSETHEIR ‘SERVICE’…I’m sure there are plenty of other REPUTABLE vacuum service repair shops in Milwaukee. FINDTHEM! DONOTWASTEYOURTIME dropping off your vac here!!! I called, dropped the vac off. I called 2 days later.“Haven’t looked at it yet“ OK I thought maybe 2 days is too soon for them to give me an estimate. so I give them the benefit of doubt and wait 2 more days. then I call again: NOANSWER. the phone call when straight to VM then alternating to «BUSYSIGNAL.» Same pattern when I call the day after and the day after(STILLNOANSWER).until at the end of that week. WE have had ENOUGH of this situation… we went back into the ‘shop’ &TOOKMYVACUUMBACK!!! VERYFRUSTRATEDANDTOTALLYINSHOCKOFHORRIBLESERVICE!!! I CANNOTBELIEVESOMEONECANRUN A «BUSINESS» LIKETHIS! When we went back into shop. I took my partner because I wanted to PUNCH this dude in the face… The ‘teenager’ behind the counter(who is obliviously fronting for some older dude who does not have his Sh&* together)… His excuse of this poor business was«We have had problems with our internet & phones» WTF does that have to do with REPAIRINGANDCALLINGMEWITH A STATUSOFMYVACUUMMACHINE? The worst experience I’ve ever had a with a so called ‘service’ company! They never called me, they never updated me, and they never fixed the problem. After calling them 5 times over the course of 2 weeks(since they never called me) … they increased the estimate $ 120 and there was no change in what was wrong with the vacuum! Crooks!
