Best wrestling in the city. Best show you will see all year. These guys go all out and pull no stops. Turner hall is a great place to have it at with beer flowing and everyone yelling I never miss this.

I was a tomboy growing up and used to watch wrestling on TV when they had George«The Animal Steel.» Mondo Lucha! took me back to those days. I didn’t know the show started so late and I was only to see a bit but I got to watch people for a hour. I love to do that:) There are some pretty dedicated fans who dress up in the garb. My favorite was a Dia de Los Muertos half face and Elvis! They had Burlesque in between the matches and a few bands also. They had tall boys of all of the beers that made Milwaukee famous. It was general admission and we happened to get floor seats near the back. We were there a hour early and there was already a line. $ 20.00 a ticket is a pretty fair price. You would think it’s a guy thing, but there were a lot of women there. I’d love to go see it again when I have more time. We had to park miles away in a nondescript alley because there was a Bucks game going on right across the street. Parking is very expensive right around the Bradley center so be prepared to walk.

Lucha libre, burlesque, local bands, antics, and wicked fun? Yes please. Milwaukee, you’re way super-lucky to have Mondo! What a unique, fun, and ridiculously awesome event. If you’ve not been, go at your next opportunity. Not kidding, not kidding at all. Nothing else like it in the Mil… kudos to Jay and Andrew for keeping up their particular brand of rasslin’-tastic fun! Five. Big. Stars.
